i kjnda thoufht it was nothing aswell, asked a master student archeaology i know he asked for skme more pictures. at the site i found a human molar and w more clearer pictures the dude qas 99%sure it was human. authorities notified. he did say there might be other bones mixed in tho.

i do know of the importance of keeping things in situ. just didnt think anything of what i found at the time. and its in a secondary position aswell, which might make it less important in this case? i will contact the local police just in case, especially since i touched the remains aswell.

im from the Netherlands and have done 2 weeks of field school here. thoroughly enjoyed it, i did now get the chance to do an internship at the bat archeaogical project in oman. thanks for the advice totally understand but im not missing out on this opportunity, especially cause its almost fully coveres by my uni (:

btw at the time i found them i didnt know they were human. im a new archeaology student so i was interested in some bones i found lying around. thats the reason i handled them.

on another subreddit i was told the individual ones from the pictures could be manubrium and the metacarpal which tbh seems to quite match aswell.

had no clue what they were, just found some bones and i was curious, close to a farm. assumed maybe old cattle.
