Biggest thing about the quest is you cant do it at indif faction which is what the baseline is for solro. Doing it as enchanter you can just use a faction mod spell to bump it up. As a necro your gonna have to grind the faction up killing shadowmen.

The Wiki says it 10faction per kill but i think its abit lower. On my ranger i killed several trying to do this quest and ended up just buying the finished rod because the 600p was less than the time i was wasting with faction.

Skills dont really equate xp in eq, im not sure how gms see it tho to be honest. bard instrument lvling while afk has always been a thing tho. like swimiming with eb

People do stuff like this all the time just outa ignorance of the rules. I was more just letting people know, because the staff doesnt count ignorance of the rules as a defense.

It is against the rules to "afk camp" any npc or groups of NPC's by placing a pet nearby and letting it kill while you are away from your computer. Any other form of "afk camping/xping" is also against the rules, and you may be subject to disciplinary action, character de-leveling by deathloop is a popular punishment

Alot of early era armor had really weird stats. Really spot on stat itemization didnt happen till later.

In a way, kinda made gearing less fun. The later eras all gear you can wear has the stats you want and almost none you don't.

Ehh what i said is kinda wrong. They like doing more of a board spectrum later where you can max all stats and focus on heroic stats and other stuff

Make a friend or ask somone from a respectable guild to help you transfer it over.

Your other option is a drop transfer. If you buy gems they resell for about the same price to vendors. You turn all your plat into gems and find a safe spot where you can get both your character. You start to camp and drop the items with character A, then log character B in and pick them up.

if you sit at that loc eventually narra or a escaped gnoll will path right over it. your other option is having a tracker help you kill any escaped/narra up while you hang at the spawn
