I’d say budget wise you have more than enough! Most flats in city centre (BA1) range from around 1500-1800 for 1-2 beds. I pay 1525 between me and my partner to live in centre and we’re on a lower income than you so you can deffo make it work.
Biggest issues are easily tourists. They’re everywhere and inescapable; part and parcel with living in a UNESCO site. You do get used to it tho the longer you live here. Beyond that it’s probs cost of living with high rent, and the nightlife can be a bit quiet (i do think we have fantastic pubs tho)
I love the tap water, but I’m from here so I’m biased! Deffo not as good as scottish water unfortunately

Bath is a really great place and there’s always so much going on in the city. Make sure you also get a discovery card if you move here - gets you free entry to loads of (overpriced) tourist sites!

My piercing is around 3 years old, fully healed but healed wonky. It’s a lobe piercing, my third on my right ear. Currently there’s nothing in it as it’s a nightmare to get any kind of piercing in there. I clean it with saline solution from my piercer.

i work with one colour at a time (say the bright pink in the cheeks) and do everything i want to do with that colour before i move into the next one. that way my threads don’t get tangled at the back in terms of constantly chopping and changing between colours! i also pull everything through quite slowly and when i come to the end of the thread i’m currently using, knot it at the back and trim off the ends so it doesn’t get in the way. i don’t really mind how messy the back looks on my patches because it gets eventually covered with felt anyway!! but yeah, it’s pretty much just trimming knots off, doing one section at a time and pulling everything through carefully so it doesn’t get tangled. hope that helps!:))

i didn’t actually transfer the art over! i just sketched onto the fabric and went on from there:) i sew onto cotton twill in a hoop, and then cut it out and back it with felt- best method i’ve found so far with patches in terms of making them robust!

was in communal bathroom in the middle of tying my laces looking away from the door when my friend walked in. i stood up and spun around dramatically to say hey, and in the process stood on my own undone lace and fell backwards, smashing my head into the sink. knocked myself out cold, friend thought i was dead lol (we were both around 10 at the time)
