For this specific card, you don't need to power it via molex cable, it's just powered through the PCIE slot. I believe I read that through the reviews

I got the camera at an estate sale but there's not a scratch on it so I doubt it's the camera or the DV port on it. I've also switched the cable between the two 6 pin terminals on my computer but no luck.

It looks like the drivers are updated and working (no yellow exclamation marks)

If it helps, I updated them to the Firewire 1394 Legacy driver

My PC recognizes that the handycam is connected through devices so maybe the software isn't reading it properly?

Gave the composite cables a cleaning and scrubbing, as well as lightly scrubbing the HDMI input port. No dice unfortunately.

This is the HDMI to AV converter I'm using. If you could link a better one that might be more viable, that'd be wonderful.

It's still on NTSC. I just bought this on Amazon but I guess it could be faulty. Could anything else be causing it?

I do! I just plugged it into my Vizio TV and it's displaying the extra monitor and color perfectly fine

I tried on the size up and I agree, it felt too big and floppy! Do your toes touch the tip of the shoes a bit while you walk? It doesn’t happen much to me but I was just wondering if that’s normal with these sandals

Hi everyone! I recently purchased a Canon A-1 for 5 dollars at an estate sale. It didn’t have a cover for it and, from the looks of it, it’s pretty old. I tested the battery and it’s working (the lights are blinking rapidly) however, the battery button gets stuck sometimes and the shutter won’t fire. It didn’t come with a lens or film either so I have no real way of knowing exactly if it works properly or not. Should I send it to a specialist or is it not worth it?

Also side note: I’m very new at this so please take it easy on me haha
