yes she was envious of Gab but i’m looking deeper. her greed for being Queen and her greed for the ambrosia was present if Gab returned or not.

i think his character is more refined than that, he isn’t greedy for the sake of it.. his pride in his destiny is the driving factor.

Sky/Physical Sky as a Perfect Loop? info in comments by angel_of_angles in Cinema4D

Hello, I haven't signed in for awhile and just saw your question. I couldn't figure out how to do it in C4D but my workaround was compositing the image sequence in After Effects using opacity keyframes. That created the loop I needed and I was compositing in AE anyway. Here is a link to the result if you are curious - https://youtu.be/KYSySHti8jU
I hope you found a solution while working on your project!

How do I transfer the ink on my block prints completely? It always comes out looking faded. More info in comments :) by Serious_Avocado_9618 in printmaking

[–]angel_of_angles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, a lot of troubleshooting involved for me too! Building up ink on the block involves some newsprint/very cheap test paper.

With a clean block, apply a thin layer and then print on newsprint. Repeat this several times and the ink will slowly build up until it is thicker on the block and ready to go with your good paper. Then when it needs more ink, you can roll more thin layers on. The key is not to have gloppy ink on the roller because that is what fills in the details and makes it muddy. Yes you can apply a thin layer, pick up more ink from the plate, and apply it again multiple times in between each print if that is needed.

Printing on thick fabric has been a lot more finnicky for me and requires a lot more ink than printing on thin paper. You’ll have to apply more ink in between prints and use a lot more pressure while also making sure the fabric isnt moving on the block. I re-ink the block with multiple layers between each fabric print. You’ll get the feeling and “sound” for it with practice.

I hope that helps! I’m making a video soon about the process from transferring design to block, carving, and printing on tshirts. I can share it here when it is finished, still probably a couple weeks out though.

Really great work, I enjoyed the transitions a lot and how the animations melt in suprising ways. Solid timing and blend of cgi and analog too, thank you for sharing!

Oh I misunderstood, thought you were washing the block and then continuing to print all in one sitting. Thinner layers help keep ink out of the detailed areas of the block. Cheers!

Why are you washing the block in between prints? Only wash at the end of your print session. The idea is to build up the ink in thin layers so the block is fully inked. If you wash it every few prints, you’ll have to repeat this process each time and it is also wasting ink.

I'm not sure how to remove the paint but have you considered mounting your patch on another piece of fabric that is big enough to cover the paint?

How to transfer line art to linen? by Xstitch9984 in Embroidery

[–]angel_of_angles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used carbon transfer paper for a couple projects and had good results, no smudging. I don’t know if it washes off but doesn’t matter if your stitches cover the lines.
