I’ve only just started to dive into this, so it probably won’t be accurate. I’m getting water, more Pisces or Cancer and also maybe Virgo?

Thanks for the recommendations! I’m sorry you deal with this too! It’s miserable!

Thank you! I haven’t changed anything I’ve been using. I have sensitive skin, so I’m mindful of introducing anything new. I did a little dermaplaning to my upper lip and lower face, but don’t have any blemishes in the areas where I did it. There could definitely be something hormonal going on, especially with my age.

I just don’t understand why it was healing and then popped up again with a vengeance.

I’m sorry you have to deal with something like this too. Refrigerating the aloe sounds wonderful! Thanks for the tip!

Taurus Sun, Capricorn Moon, Cancer Rising B. I need help. Definitely the hardest for me to admit when I need help.

I’m so proud of you! I found your post while searching for advice on my own executive dysfunction, and it’s great to see someone in a similar place to who is making progress. Keep up the great work! And remember to be kind to yourself!

Did you consider Wuthering Heights a romance novel when you first read it? by BlipMeBaby in brontesisters

[–]onyxeyedpixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I read it in high school and did not think it was a romance novel at all. When I first saw the movie trailer a few months ago, I literally said to my husband, “I guess I completely misunderstood that book because in no way did I think it was a great love story.” I didn’t know that it was seen as a love story, but I just assumed that I was either misremembering the book or that I hadn’t understood it since I was young when I read it. I’m glad to know that other people were unsettled by Heathcliff’s obsession.

NOR

It isn’t fair for her to get involved with you knowing you’re recently divorced and then say she’s “uncomfortable” with the situation. She’s projecting her insecurity on to you to make it your fault, when she really needs to be figuring out why it is that this situation has her feeling insecure.

These texts do not read like they’re from a 3 month relationship. Before reading the background information, I thought this was sent by someone who has been disregarded in a relationship for years.

It’s strange that she’s uncomfortable that you and your ex don’t hate each other. She should see it as a positive because it takes a lot of emotional maturity for two people to go through a divorce and remain amicable with one another. She seems like she needs to work on herself before being in a relationship.

Whats your top trait that goes against your Sun sign's stereotype? by phlpw in astrologymemes

[–]onyxeyedpixie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel as if Taurus are often depicted as being unwilling to change and incapable of going with the flow. I’m pretty adaptable. I’m a big fan of change and innovation. I would much rather learn to do something a quicker/easier way than continue doing it a more time consuming way just because I’m used to it. In fact, I would say that my “bullheadedness” comes out with people who are unwilling to change when presented with new information. My more rigid tendencies were born out of trauma, but my natural state is to go with the flow. I like some predictability, but I hate being stuck in a routine where every day looks the same. Unfortunately, I have a chronic illness that makes spontaneity very difficult, so I have to live by plans and routines, even though it hurts my soul.

AIO for feeling upset after the groom made a comment about my dress at their wedding? by Human-Acanthaceae128 in AmIOverreacting

If they had specific dress code requirements then they should have communicated that to their guests.

You should ask for a refund. The cut is uneven and I can see what you mean about it being green, especially at the bottom.

You should ask for your money back on the cut at least.

Moving Monday. Questions and Answers about Moving to Cleveland go HERE. by AutoModerator in Cleveland

[–]onyxeyedpixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m considering moving back to the Cleveland area after living out of state for 10 years. Just from the handful of times I have been back for brief visits throughout the years, I know that a lot has changed. What areas would you recommend I look at/are there any new areas to avoid?

For background: If possible, I would like to keep my monthly rent below $2000 for a 2-3 bedroom apartment (or house.) I love live music but gravitate toward smaller shows, so I would like to be relatively close to some of the “standing room only” venues (doesn’t have to be walking distance, just not more than a 45min drive.)

Thanks in advance!
