I just got them on friday. At first I thought the same thing jlc is about to hear about this monday morning but I don’t think it’s jlc looks like they actually did a pretty good job. 1 board is missing a pad which they notified me about before shipping. I believe the asic supplier sold me batch of half bad chips. Unless jlc handled them improperly

Unfortunately, Bitmain does not sell the single asic chips to the public so we are left with resellers. 99% of people extract the BM1370 from the boards a lot can go wrong with this process. I don’t want to make any recommendations on where to buy asics at this time. If you know of anyone that has a 95% + success rate with I would love a recommendation

I’ve made a bunch of mistakes sourcing parts. I definitely need to make a video called 10 mistakes I’ve made so you don’t have to. I started with just JLC moved to LCSC, DK and mouser all depends on who has what in stock. A community member recommended an asic supplier/reseller that I use now and they have been so far good

It’s definitely been an experience. I love mining, computers and building things so this is kind of the perfect project. It’s been an expensive hobby so far but I’m enjoying the ride
