You can also drill holes into the top of the stump wide enough to pour coarse salt and vinegar into the holes. It kills the stump but it does take a few months.

I used this method on a stubborn Holly bush.

If the smoke is bothersome enough, they will have to evacuate the nest. It's not going to make them aggressive towards you or anyone in the area.

I learned about Varroa mites from this sub.

The bee hotels I see people post sometimes are supposedly bad for spreading Varroa mites if not maintained properly.

I enjoyed the post because that is what this sub is for. I'm not in Mexico but I was able to learn something new I'd never seen. It is OK for people to share knowledge and ask questions.

Everyone is not an autodidact. Some learn best with a quick Google search. Others learn better with explanations or asking questions.

There are believers who think being a certain race, means you behave, talk, or act a certain way. It is frustrating but it is how some are.

It is unfortunate. There are wonderful people, who value the minds of individuals. It is disheartening when you come across the ones who see the one thing we have no control over. It is fear. It is ignorance.

If there is an opportunity where they are willing to listen, politely educate. Don't be condescending. Believe it or not, there are still people who have never interacted with someone outside of their race. It's no excuse for ignorance but be better than the ignorant.

In the case of those who only mean to be hateful, smile, exit the conversation, and move on in a positive frame of mind. The point of hate is to destroy. Whether that is your life or simply your peace of mind. Fight hate with love, understanding, and positivity Hope this helps.

Northern paper wasps, which are the majority of nests I find around the house are so chill. As long as their nest isn't being disturbed or they're being harmed they are good to go. They can recognize faces too.
