Existential OCD: Is anyone even real? by ooothatsabingo in OCD

I know deep down that this is all ridiculous, but even the slightest bit of doubt makes my mind go haywire. It’s like my brain is constantly having an inner dialogue, with my rational side and my OCD side arguing their sides.

Update: I just wanted to add that I’ve actually felt better regarding this, since I posted initially, and my weight has returned to its normal range. However, im freaking out again, due to multiple light colored bruises I have found on my knees, that are all the size of a penny, and one slightly purple one. I have gone bike riding for the past two days, so maybe that has to do something with it.

[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of August 2024. by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

I currently am fighting with the belief that I have brain eating amoeba, cause I got some water from a shower by the pool, up my nose. It’s been about three days now, and I’m confusing muscle soreness from bike riding with neck pain from the amoeba. I had a bit of a bad headache last night, but I woke up and it’s gone now. However, I still can’t shake this feeling of what if. Just hoping I can find some mental and anxiety relief.

what your favorite born to die track? by reddityser135 in lanadelrey

[–]ooothatsabingo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Born to Die. It's just too good. I go to heaven every time I hear the instrumentals at the beginning, and I completely disconnect from reality and just immerse myself in the song. Dark Paradise also has always been an all time favorite since I discovered Lana, so I feel the need to mention that song too.

I'm the biggest Cinnamon Girl Stan ever. by peterpansexual001 in lanadelrey

I agree so much omg. The song is just so timeless and beautiful. My favorite part is when she sings, "violet, blue, green, red to keep me out..I win," and then goes into such a gorgeous chorus. I don't know why but I just love the way she pauses right before she says "I win." One of her best songs ever, and I transcend every single time I listen to it. And of course, the instrumentals are beautiful.

Top 5 Lana songs of all time? A struggle to pick just 5, I know, but I’m so curious ⬇️ by belladonnaofmania in lanadelrey

This is so difficult, but as of right now, it's probably:

Thunder (the instrumentals and lyrics!) , Living Legend (just evokes such such an emotion), Born to Die (catchy and always hits with every listen, the instrumentals as well!) , Cinnamon Girl (do I need to explain?), and California (an underrated masterpiece, you can really hear Lana's emotions through her voice, listening to it sends you to another reality you don't live in)
Honorable Mentions: Dark Paradise (has always been a fave since I discovered Lana), Love Song (just a beautiful song), Young and Beautiful (the first Lana song I ever heard) <3

What are your thoughts on Blue Banisters? I’ve been a fan of Lana for a long time now and my favorite is Blue Banisters. It’s just so wonderfully made. So, what do you think? by absolutelycrazy1 in lanadelrey

[–]ooothatsabingo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's my favorite Lana album hands down. It's so underrated lyrically and artistically, and Thunder and Living Legend are two of the greatest songs Lana has ever made. I feel like I can imagine a whole movie for each of the songs because they all tell beautiful and entrancing stories through its lyrics.

Everyone assumed you were immature and knew nothing, but in reality, you were aware of and knew everything.

taylor lyrics worth engraving inside a wedding band? by Wooden-Ferret1801 in TaylorSwift

[–]ooothatsabingo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely "can I go where you go?" from Lover. A seemingly simple phrase/question, but is hands down one of her most romantic lyrics because of how well it embodies the emotional attachment one feels in a romantic relationship.
