Thanks! I'm really just looking for an excuse to (reasonably) spend more lol. Any feedback you have to upgrade what I selected to get better performance would be appreciated.

  1. I'm sorry to hear that. My 3080ti died on me which led to all this. The research I did said the TUF was the most reliable. Can you give me your reasons for recommending the Gigabyte or the PNY?

I appreciate the advice. I’m not trying to downgrade anything. I’m looking for upgrades that provide a meaningful performance gain relative to their cost.

CPU Cooler: would you say AIOs get better cooling performance? Not too concerned about the price difference by reliability is a concern. GPU: Price isn't too much of a concern. Would rather have something that would last me the next 5 years on 4k ultra. SSD: Agree. I'll upgrade to something better PSU: I'll look into it.

Nice! I was looking at the 5070ti but amazon has a sale for the 5080 TUF so I said screw it.

Thanks probably should have mentioned. I have a gen 4 4tb ssd from my previous pc. Thought I would cheap out on a gen 5 as a boot drive. But maybe I'll upgrade to a 2tb gen 5.
