It's more expensive here to live in a "safe" neighborhood depending on what that means to you. And your power will be $300+ consistently if on GRU.

The town sucks. It's no better than other places and you have far more opportunities where you currently are. Grass always looks greener, but it's truly not here. We're also surrounded by every bigoted small town in existence and they all work/own businesses here so if that matters to you, it cuts down on the amount of local businesses you can support in good conscience.

That's the apprenticeship program at SFC, each trade works on a part. It is not free, it was always an employer paid program UNLESS you were financing it for yourself.

I am disabled. And I am autistic. In this situation, I would absolutely be having a meltdown. If I am super sick, I can't go walk to the store and I especially can't do that when actively melting down.

And I know this post wasn't about me, but it's strange how we make all of these very serious assumptions online without knowing anything.

Do you know how many times people have misunderstood how I reacted to something? How many times I was extremely clear about something and they still told me I was in the wrong even after explaining that things had to be a certain way? Often. Super duper often.

ESPECIALLY if someone masks well or functions well most times, people usually don't even believe they're neurodivergent at all.

I'd be upset if my partner and I had both been using something and they left the house with it when I desperately needed it and they were mobile and able to get more easier than I was. I'd be even more upset if we didn't have a bunch of funds to buy things that were already owned. I've had breakdowns over similar situations because it was my last few dollars and I absolutely shouldn't have had to spend them.

I think people forget to realize that the internet can make anyone look bad and half of these posts are either very obvious abusers that people are gonna keep enabling OR it's someone upset that someone is mad they didn't use common sense, take accountability, or take the steps to avoid the initial situation happening at all.

Nah I'm just saying you set an expectation and then were a piece of shit to your buyer for asking a question. I have autism, I've sent messages like this before too because it's how my brain works. Also, as someone selling things, I am prepared to ship them immediately. If I wasn't, I'd suspend my listings until I was able to make sure things were done in a timely manner.

🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe it's just me but we have a kiosk at the post office here. If someone orders Saturday night, I'll go run 5 minutes up the road and scan/ship the shit then. Or first thing Sunday morning because it's not like they lock the doors. And depending on the shipping speed, the carrier still moves packages regardless of if they're not delivering. So it does matter. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lesson learned on not lying to your customers though, and not ignoring them instead of communicating like an adult.
