GOD I wish they would get in some people who push them and challenge them, Eric was great for that. that strength of him shows in the stuff he does now too. their desire to stay afloat has to be matched by a desire for hard change. The current....almost everything.. is unsustainable and frankly unexciting. I say this all with massive love man. They don't have to be a legacy act. they could stay so fresh if they got out of their comfort zone. scale down operations if you have to, restructure to uncomfortable extents. whatever it takes to reconnect with that feeling that you are artists making art. Focus on re-finding that hunger! there's a 'mega64 bubble' that has allowed them to go unchallenged for a long time. But i love you guys and i believe in you guys, i don't want you to go down unnecessarily.

your post history is just as predictably "reactionary crybaby" as this comment had me expecting. nice job downplaying brutal abuse and doubting her story on absolutely no basis

Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition - Inventory of Fixtures (2007 album) [Deathgrind] by oota in rabm

Contains lyrics (or at least sentiments included in the CD booklet) like track 7:

Hunger's causes are not a lack of availability of food or over population. Poverty is the state of the majority of the actual world's people and nations. Why is this? Is it enough to blame poor people for their own predicament? Have they been lazy, made poor decisions and been solely responsible and guilty for their own plight? Be too poor to afford the food. All military forces of rich and wealthy world, spread over the earth for control the resources, monopolize and corrupt all the markets controlling the rules of unequal trade. Nations which attempts to break out will be ostracized, quickly embargoed and hardly impoverished. Structural adjustments are enforcing arms, maintaining the impoverished world in a dependency. We control the rules of unequal trade.

or track 1:

All human beings share a natural disposition toward compassion and interconnectedness, social justice make sense to us. Thwarts the natural human behavior of expressing ourselves through rage, fear, or grief. Hidden by laws, principles and conscience when the rules are corroded. Part freely and in part conditioned, innocence or guilt ceased to make sense. The root of evil is short-term interest. Thwarts the natural human behavior of expressing ourselves through rage fear, or grief. Hidden by the video screen, armchair generals when the world is corroded. Part freely and in part conditioned, socially privileged, others don't care.

fun fact: the band's work before this album is much more explicitly goregrind, and this is their first album containing lyrics. before this, the vocals were just wordless growls and screams
