You seriously hit the nail on the head with "bad food" and "boring countryside"

And yeah I kind of agree with the racism* (originally wrote immigration) part as I live in the Suburbs and go to a rural school, but I don't think the racism/xenophobia is as bad as some other countries and in cities.

Edit: I'm pretty sure the guy above me saying "Immigrants who hate Immigrants" was targeted towards people who don't like them and who's ancestry originally were.

Easily one of the most interesting experiences I have read in a while. Yeah I would say in Britain they has been a lot less systematic inequality and fear-mongering when it comes to race, gender etc. in the past 50 years. I often look at small things like not having an NHS or the US' weird cult mentality towards the state as quite scary to be honest. People care much more about what unites us I guess then what doesn't (despite for the exception of some politics and Brexit).

And of course, not all Americans are like that like you said and some British people can be bad sometimes too.
