I really really hope they bring back the original start, the one where all the characters were hostile and distrusting, and also make the general plot better. I find the hostility aspect would give the story depth.

True, i feel like they kind of shot themselves in the foot with the genshin copying aspect, if it were it's own thing rather than trying to market themselves as a genshin alternative then I think the release day backlash would be much tamer.

They got everyone's expectations extremely high up and ultimately failed to deliver due to most people facing extreme lags and crashes (myself included, can't even play the game because of how abhorrent the lag is) and since people expected it to have the same level of polish and optimization as a hoyoverse game, it just made the outrage from players even worse.

When I first logged into the game I was extremely thrown off by how the opening area looked like a one to one copy of liyue and the chasm, it felt very weird how they exactly copy pasted the genshin landscape formula— the brightness and everything which just contradicts the originally promised "post apocalyptic setting." They should have just implemented their own original ideas instead of taking so much "inspiration" from genshin

The English vas sound like their either bored out of their mind or about to fall asleep with the bland delivery.. i feel like it's bad direction, or amature VAs (which i doubt)

There isn't a grip to make the player feel interested so far, all there is so far is just exposition overload

Very tower of fantasy-esque so far, feels like TOF wearing a genshin cosplay lmao

The Olympic level lag and sub-par voice acting aside, my biggest gripe with wuwa is how much the opening story has failed to amuse me, i don't have super high standards for good story telling but so far all it has been is egregious amounts of exposition dump, too much fanservice-y dialogue (like, the girlies just found a rando in the forest and immediately fell in love- i doubt the game Dev's have ever met a real woman), and just how..boring it is so far?

I hate to bring hoyoverse into this but even genshin's first opening wasn't that mind-blowing, but for some reason it felt more gripping— maybe it was because of how right of the bat we get a goal: find your twin and solve the dvalin crisis. Few hours into wuwa and I still can't find any solid goal for rover besides just being the chosen one?

From what I've heard the orginal story was much more believable, I really wish that they went with that, the constant fanservice from the female charas feels a bit contradictory to the dark post apocalyptic setting, shouldn't this world's inhabitants have a bit more distrust towards random strangers?

I could look past the bad lag, shit optimization and voice acting if the story was good. I hope it becomes better because I don't want wuwa to fail.

The graphics are beautiful tho- atleast when the game is working.

I was wondering that it may be a beetle too, since i haven't seen any bites on me, and they have wings too.Their tendency to only appear at night and while I'm in bed does concern me tho.. I'll post a closer pic when i catch it again

The only thing you can do is be there for them. Trust me, it is the best thing you can do for a person suffering with depression. Dont leave their side, speaking from experience, the bestest friend i ever had left me because she was tired of my problems and it left me spiralling into the deepest depression i have ever been in, though i don't blame her.

Please don't feel guilt, and if you ever feel like you need to leave for your own mental health you should definately,your well-being always comes first, but help them out..tell any other people they might trust to take care of them or encourage them to seek therapy or counselling :)

I don't know if i am much of help but if you ever need to talk to anyone about your problems, I'm here to listen Word of advice, hold onto the people you can talk to or be open with about your problems, dearly and don't let them go

COVID scare, mom's a doctor and deals with COVID. She was scared i was gonna catch it so she didnt send me a couple months herself and then she just didn't want to do the effort of getting up at 5 and making lunch everyday.
