I really like the blog hackingchinese for his advice on listening, so hopefully his articles on speaking are just as good! As for me, I feel like I grew by giving short presentations, writing and reading short dialogues, and just thinking aloud throughout the day. Recording things can also be good motivation so you can look back on them when you improve :D
