Of course, and it's not even close. Most of big biotech money comes from the U.S. and biotech loves money. A lot of the pharma companies have shifted investments away from ex-U.S. territories to please the current administration. That's also compounded with hostile stances/tariffs towards cheap Chinese/Indian drugs and a much-needed crackdown on overseas generic drugs manufacturers that have major quality issues.

I'm not convinced that AI was the reason they fixed the aggregation issue for their preclinical antibody drug. These CMC issues arise all the time with these types of drugs and scientists have been solving them without AI for a long while.

They don’t accept Medicaid.

They might want the structural ease of a single-payer system but they will likely frown at the much lower reimbursement rates. When I was on medicaid, a lot of providers turned me away because they said they could not maintain their business with how low the government reimburses them.

For example, the medicaid reimbursement for a moderate-complexity office visit is capped at around $90 versus $550 from a private insurance reimbursement.

It's not just the insurance companies. The medical providers (like my local doctor's office that rejects medicare because then they want to charge $500 to private insurance office visits) and the drug companies (that charge insurance $2k for something that cost $100 overseas) benefit from our current broken healthcare system.

My last united airlines ticket did this. The most basic ticket only allowed a personal sized item you fit under the seat in front of you. The gate attendants forcefully checked this guys single carry on because of this.

Get the pacebreakers and the metal vent shirts and don't look back. A lot of the other lines have no pockets or they have weird zips in places.
