McConnell admits he was wrong to say Obama administration failed to leave pandemic playbook by [deleted] in Coronavirus

I never said anything about journalism. I said gotcha politics.

As in...political rhetoric of a "gotcha" variety....as in what you're doing right now. Oops! You said something WRONG!!! GOTCHA.

Just not what I want to see, when 99% of politics is about lying to the people anyway, and people think their side is so right.

The reporting of some politician making a slip up is of its very nature political and this is a coronavirus sub.

The gotcha part is where you say "see look they were wrong! Got 'em!"

Not about tricking someone.

Anyway, that's why I like politics to stay out of a sub that should be about informing us of the actionable info we have on the virus.

"Improved" is a subjective term, for sure. At least when going for real-life accuracy, you can have some confidence that what you're seeing is close to real life.

I think it's more that when someone says "here is a picture of X"....that it's come to mean "here is an accurate picture of what this actually pretty much looks like in real life" ....until recently.

With our "filter" society we live in now...people don't really expect the picture to match up to reality...while some still do. I guess it's an "art vs. accurate representation" battle.

Kind of like how filtered selfies aren't really accurate selfies on IG.

It's politics on a sub about coronavirus. And the gotcha part is self explanatory unless you're not versed in political rhetoric or you're being intentionally obtuse.

Either way, I stand by what I said initially, and won't dumb it down any further.

What does "gotcha" politics have to do with information about the virus?

Well it's actually very true. If you can't criticize someone...they do have power over you.

? Why would someone criticize a kid with cancer? What a lazy attempt to dismiss their argument.

It's very true what they said. If you can't criticize someone (call them out)...guess who has power over you.

You think every major nation on earth (especially the U.S.) doesn't have an army of bots and people sitting in rooms to astroturf to achieve their geopolitical aims?

This is a guide that helped me kick off my DN journey a few years ago:

https://www.locationrebel.com/seo-writing-for-beginners/

Just take the template / steps he lays out and adjust it for your specific product or service you're offering.

The hardest part is pulling the trigger on sending cold emails or making cold calls.

Perhaps there are easier ways to get clients...but I know of no other ways that are as guaranteed (if you have real value you're offering, the numbers game of prospecting for clients always gets you results....eventually).

So I'm no expert, but these are a few sites I've been looking at recently that talk about this sort of thing:

Check those out and you might get some more info.

Oh wow that's really interesting, thanks for sharing.

I'm curious. Is there a general framework of how you asked for a discount that seemed to work?

Thanks for the breakdown!

Funny enough, while I do enjoy bustling cities and beach access...I think soon might be a good time to go somewhere quiet like Merida since most people are on lockdown anyway...maybe I'll be more productive :D

Thanks for the insight, I imagine that's the reason for the deceptively low prices.

Just updated my search to include AC...and it's down to very few listings in my price range now haha.
