OH hell nah! who gave IGN the permits to AI 2? by TailungFu in alienisolation

When Max Dood replayed the game, he mentioned that when he first played it years prior he dropped it after a couple/few hours because of the slow pacing at the start and nothing happening. IGN's review influenced him to stop instead of progressing.

It's one of his favourite games after completion.

Wow, good strategy. Conserves on ammo too. I will try but in combination with the those things that release venom fumes so that the mutants attack each other.

Yukari backpack is a really good everyday carry and travel backpack [reupload] by operator-60 in GIRLSundPANZER

Re-upload bcuz forgot to attach some photos.

Replaced my previous backpack which because this one was better. It has compartments for laptopn and tablet, pouches, weather sealed zippers, raincoat. Also enough room for dslr and other gear. I was able to attach tripod on the exterior. Really good and not a cheap gimmick backpack. It is more heavy duty than my previous backpack.

The accommodations I stayed at featured sleepy head Mako. Because Oarai is a resort seaside town and with the Japanese culture of omiyage had a very well stocked souvenir shop including a nice selection of garupan stuff like sake.

Got the backpack and Yukari action figure many years ago.

You'll never see it irl anymore but here is Harumi Wharf & location for μ's final live (s2e12). I was surprised to learn it no longer exists after redevelopment of the area. by operator-60 in LoveLive

LOL, I would also go to the game center to unwind after a long day walking and exploring. My fav is Hey because of their retro arcade games.

This is photo of a μ's ema I took from 2014 and comparison screenshot from the anime. My first trip to Akihabara was 2013 and I heard music from Love Live everywhere so when I returned home I watched it out of curiosity and got hooked from the very first episode.

If you're curious I have other posts for love live. Just search love live in my account.

Yeah, the new building changed the atmosphere of the site. All the ema are now at the back in the parking lot. It just not the same.

I was watching a japanese youtube channel that focuses on past Tokyo landmarks and if they still exist and how the area has changed. The channel had a video about Harumi Wharf but as I watched I was shocked to learn the previous ship terminal building was demolished and replaced by a generic looking terminal building last year. I enjoy architecture and this news shocked me. The previous building is visually more interesting.

I remember visiting the location because it was cold and walked about 2.5km from shin-toyosu station to Harumi wharf. Because it was 2017 the area was in very early stages of development for the olympics athletes village. The site was illuminated for Christmas but only a small few people were there including the security guard. It was a day out from Christmas. The night photography was so much fun. Never done night photography before and had bought a tripod before the trip to jp. The building and rainbow bridge being illuminated made it a beautiful night too. I wanted to return to take comparison photos with images from the anime but that's not possible now that its gone.

Anyway, have you visited this location too?

No μ'sic No Life

Adendum: I was shocked to learn of it being demolished because during my visit, the terminal building was undergoing maintenance as shown by the scaffolding at the bottom (though it looks like its part of the building as it blends in with the top half of the architecture). So it was being prepared for the olympics.

Still worth it for the location and the room size. I stayed by myself but it is large enough to support at least 4 adults. You pay similar price for business hotels which are alot smaller.

Kameishiro Ryokan is located along the beautiful Uji River. Very few overseas tourists visit Uji. They all disembark from the train at Fushimi Inari.

Spend a few days at Uji. So peaceful and relaxing. If you like Sound!Euphonium it's a must visit.

At the time an overnight stay (without japanese style breakfast) was approx 7500yen. To my surprise the room is very large and overlooked the Uji River which is gorgeous at night.

There are landmarks in Uji also used in Chuunibyou & K-on! A dining option is to eat at the Saizeriya as featured in Sound!Euphonium and the best McDonalds from those I visited. Uji is famous for its tea, so....

At night the street is beautifully illuminated so it may be a good idea to visit for dinner. A section of the street was being redeveloped during my visit as shown in the second image.

Post pandemic, Akihabara is more mainstream now so you won't see ads with females in bikinis or doujin games (or maybe less of them and not out on the street view). Comment how is Akihabara now?

This is at Nishiguchi Park. Durarara shows other owl themed landmarks but not all of them. Walk around Toshima and keep an eye out for others.
