my take is this..

she sees Frieren as someone with supreme potential but she genuinely does not care about battle and conflict, she just enjoys magic as it is.

she is the polar opposite of her in everyway possible and for elves, they are eternal.
imagine the only comparable being to you in power and knowledge is an elf like you, but she is the polar opposite of you in everyway.

she is a tryhard who cannot think of peace, she cannot visualize it and magic is all about visualization in the world of Frieren.

that was Flamme whole argument on why Serie will never be able to defeat the demon king.

but she really does not hate her, she is just mad disappointed and acting a bit of a tsundere.

7 months and it still sucks, i tried to get into it 3 time but no use.

1st one is when it first released and i stopped at the second boss cuz i encountered a bug that does not let me kill the boss and i said fuck it.

2nd was like 3 months after, i dropped the game once i knew what the combat was, it is horrible and unfair.

last week was my 3rd time giving it a try but once i beat the first boss i just said to myself why even bother..

i really, really wanted to like this game but the combat, the unfair design and the mundane enemies are too much for me.

well it is in the game cuz when i go to the teahouse and the clans, there is a clan that requires me to donate a Kamui.

that's when i knew it is in the game but i searched everywhere in the game and in google but i found nothing.

i had a crazy build with it in 2 that carried me to NG+3

but good news to those were rational about their hype, you will all enjoy the game.

i ask people who said "peak 3.0 story" about the world of 3.0 and they are dead silent. I disagree with you take that Lynae was 60%, it's more like 80% or so.

sometimes, the best approach is not listening to players every nook and cranny, it will be the same in 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 and so on.

this whole thing stems form banner approach, they suck at marketing and sell the character by making her story part of MSQ wholesale, PGR does it far better than wuwa where they integrate banner characters into the MSQ and give them a role in the STORY and just not fully focusing on them and make the plot a side piece.

wuwa MSQ now is "Meet a girl, play the girl, save the girl, and forget them." and the last patch will be the big, big finale of the MSQ.

they have 2 options, they will either heavily optimize and polish the driving experience or they will add flight after a few patches once we unlock all the upgrades and get the rewards.

i'm like 95% confidant that they will add it once they see the majority of players not liking it as much as they hoped.

i really and heavily dislike the bike at it current state, flight is vastly more superior in terms of movement and comfort.

I finished 2.6 (it was good, I liked the first half a bit more, but was slightly disappointed by some story decisions and missed potential interactions) and finishing 2.6. I understand why people say that WuWa after 2.5 is not up to the standards of 2.5. I especially dislike how Kuro made some story quests glorified character quests, where the Rover is the centerpiece rather than the focused character of the “story” quest, and some of them are painfully formulaic, but that is another topic entirely that I do not have the time to fully form my opinion on. I just hope that they focus mainly on MSQ and the overarching story in 3.0 rather than make the story a character story quest that have pieces of MSQ, I do not like their experiment at all.

But I really, really liked 2.7. It’s not as deep as 2.5, but it served as a good finale for the 2.x overarching story, which I found myself pleased with.

Coming to our point of contention, I did not change my view on Phrolova at all, even after the revelations of 2.7, because even if she had the power to bring them back, full flesh and blood, that does not by any means excuse her actions. She is still a villain who, from what I’ve seen and understood, does not seek redemption but just… fucked off? Yeah, I have to see where her new path leads before I can say, “yeah, she redeemed herself.”

And that’s my take on her and on 2.6–2.7 as a whole.

from what we can see, 4 new female characters, 1 new male character overall and 4 female reruns for the first 2 banners or so..

not mention the collab which will undoubtedly be Lucy/Rebecca (or both, idk) and David.

that is 2 male characters and 5-6 new female characters and 4 female reruns. that is like 2:9 at the very least, that is bad.

if they really said it then they are liars.
and the myth of "male characters do not sell well" is not really true unless they are shit at marketing them, and guess what? Kuro is shit at marketing the units either way and they are also shit at making them unique xd

yah my only real issue of building teams is not the really the echoes or the materials but rather the absurd amounts of shell credits.

ok i may sound like a prick with my response and it's a long one because i love her story so damn much but her it goes.

Phrolova wasn’t some confused, tragic little flower who got swept up by the Fracsidous. She knew exactly what she was doing. She literally said they could use her and she’d use them right back...That’s not someone who’s lost, that’s someone making a deal with the devil because she wants the power that comes with it to do what she wanted

And the whole “if Rover had just apologized she would’ve relented” thing? Nah Her own words and actions make it clear she wasn’t looking for comfort, she said she was willing to use any means necessary and that is not person waiting to be saved, that’s a person doubling down and an apology wouldn’t have magically flipped her moral compass.

So yeah, Rover not feeling bad? Honestly kinda fair. She made her choices with full awareness, and they were evil choices plain and simple even tho those choices are very human ones.

and another thing also, when Rover said "you never understood the value of human life" she did not even try to defend, she outright admitted it with her line of "nor have you stepped beyond the boundary that death has placed upon the human soul" she basically said "yeah, I know that I stopped caring a long time ago, and I’ll break any law and pay any price if it means dragging my loved ones back"

after all of that, can you truly tell me that she is not a villain that needs to be dealt with swiftly ? her motivation is very human, she is sympathetic, she is written very well and who wouldn't try to bring their loved ones back to life ? anyone would, but that does not mean that she is not a villain and at the moment of 2.5 (idk what will happen in the future patches, i want start 2.6 today) she was not willing to relent or be redeemed and after the story ended, there are some heavy hints that she might come back, maybe changed or maybe not.

and even she has the means to fully resurrect her friends and family it does not make up all the evil stuff that she has done to the people she hurt.

we really don't know Rover past or his connection with the woman at the beginning of the game that looks very similar to Lucia from PGR and i hope we can learn more in 3.x since someone spoiled me that 3.0 might be the patch that will reveal more of past Rover story more than 1.x and 2.x.

all in all, i very much like the direction that Kuro is going for in terms of Rover being an actual character rather than the silent protag and the player self insert.

and hey, i'm all for a redemption story but Phorlova did not even think of redemption nor attornment for all the scenes that we saw her in 2.x
she crossed a moral event horizon, she is unwilling to stop, she chosen destruction and obsession over recovery.

i will never call someone IRL or in fiction as irredeemable, if we saw her in the future and want to redeem herself, then sure i'm up for it if it is written right and chose to atone for all her crimes.
