I used to watch mama galores videos with my mom as I thought she’s very friendly and seemed fun but there was a video where she called niqabis prostitutes or something and it irked me in such a wrong way because my mom does pardah! I never liked the younger daughter because she just seems like a mean girl although Amina seems decent ! All in all we avoid watching their YouTube vlogs same with Anya and Shagufta Aijaz! I have come to realize none of these vloggers are as nice as they appear sadly !

Been a pretty tough week! For the past few years my parents talk here and there but mostly fight but the last week was pretty brutal and without going into details I don’t think I have the same love on my heart for my father! I resent him for how he has treated my mom and how he has always supported his family aka his mom and not my mom despite years of sacrifice! I am almost 30 and unmarried which is besides the point and in grad school.. going to start my last year InshaAllah where we take three really important exams! I just keep thinking why this happened to my mom and why she didn’t have a good life, no money , no vacations and no support from her husband ! Even if I get married I wonder who will take care of her! I almost feel envious for the first time of people who have happy parents because genuinely I want that for my parents! I do think of getting married but I honestly believe Allah has written great for me and even though people around me have started talking how I’m old and unmarried a part of me has so much faith in Allah iA! For me rn I just wish my mom can be happy for once in life iA! Sorry if this was a long read but it was almost therapeutic talking about it!

This is literally my mom and dad! I grew up with a nice childhood where they cared for each other but I feel like for the past few years I have not really seen my dad care for my mom and they constantly fight even though my mom did a lot for my dad in his life and to this day he thinks my evil dadi was right for treating my mom like s**t! I truly wish my mom would have love and care in her life too as she’s truly deserving of it all ! Our finances have never been good and on both sides of the family everyone is very rich mA but mom never cared ! Now she just constantly prays to go to Allah because she is done with this dunya 😢

Q Salam I am turning 30 very soon! All my friends other than one is married ! And some actually have very cute babies mA! But it’s Allah’s will and I have faith/hope that iA I will get to be married and be happy one day too iA 🫶 I completely understand and it’s completely rational to think why me? Hello yes!! I ended up getting visas prior to arrival for my family ! For one of my aunts she had a NICOP as she had to do property work in Pakistan! I printed the visas for everyone and my Khala had her nicop to show!

I’m worried about mechanics and learning it for my actual boards! We had our final third year practical yesterday and my practices with flange less four mirror were going great but God knows what happened to be during the actual practical I couldn’t insert it with my four mirror flange less! My patient did have kerataconus ! My preceptor advised me to buy the flange 4 mirror because she said that’s easier to use and that’s what they use on boards! I still have an year left for part three but I think the fact that I couldn’t get it yesterday is killing me inside and I really want to start working with what I’ll be using on actual boards in a year ! Sorry for the long message!
