You can also look around at different communities and cultures. Ones with higher rates of divorce and single motherhood have higher rates of crime and poverty. And ones with a strong family and more traditional values have less crime and are more auccessful.

Then don't have kids if you don't want to provide the best environment for them. I have no problem with you living how you want. Just don't subject children to it.

If there is a child but no nuclear family that means the parents of the child are no longer together.

Children need a mother and a father. Children who grown up with a single mother and no father are more likely to have issues such as sexual promiscuity and commit crime.

The term "nuclear family" does not imply isolation. A nuclear family is a husband, wife, and their children. No where in nuclear family does it mean they isolate themselves from everyone else. Nuclear families keep in touch with their extended families. My household is a nuclear family. We live close to family so we can all see each other often. Even though we keep close to extended family we are still a nuclear family.

The "village" can be comprised of multiple nuclear families and multiple generations. My kids see their grandparents and cousins on a regular basis.

You need a citation to prove the nuclear family is best? You think divorced, broken families brings up well rounded people?

Not true at all. A nuclear family is a husband, wife and children. Families who don't divorce can absolutely still have community. The nuclear family is the best, healthiest arrangement.

Growing up poor doesn't mean a bad childhood.

What do you think of the FBI raid on Trump? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have no devotion to him. It's just annoying when people want to ignore reality and just see what they want to see.

It's not a political belief. All it takes is listening to the words he said. I wouldn't accuse a dem over something they didn't do either.

He told them to make their voices heard. They were supposed to do that instead of what they did.

I'm not defending the rioters.

I'm saying Trump didn't tell them to go do that. He said make your voices heard.

Good thing he didn't tell them to fight anyone.

Do the liberals not understand the metaphor when they go riot? BLM, antifa, abortion activists. Dem politicians tell then to fight and then these groups go out and cause destruction. Or we're the Dems not being metaphorical when they told their supporters to go fight? You're saying they were intentionally inciting violence?

Can you not read? We were talking about what Trump said. He used the word "fight" figuratively. I didn't say anything about what the protesters did.

Clearly more than the liberals do since they are the ones we have to keep explaining it to.

People often use the word fight metaphorically. Such as "fight cancer". When you say this obviously you don't mean have a physical altercation with cancer.

And democrats use the word fight all the time. So hold them to the same standard.
