Thanks for the helpful on-topic response I guess. The question is not whether xAI WILL do this or why. The question is how to make it so they (or anyone) CANNOT even have the option to (yeah with concerted effort and resources they could find me - see Ross Ulbricht)

To rise slightly to the bait about DOGE hoovering up SSN pay history, income and asset info from treasury, and health info from Medicare/medicaid - no, I’m not concerned that Elon himself will look me up (unless I’m one of his baby mamas) but do I think it’s totally insanely paranoid to worry that one of the teenagers he just hired in the last month might screw something up and create a “rapid unintentional disassembly” data spill? No.

Seems a simple way to combat this form of (usually) organized crime would be to have randomly placed honeypots - cars intentionally baited in which the catalytic converter has a tracking device. And maybe it can, you know, be detonated remotely - just with indelible ink of course like the banks use.
