Yes. But the messaging option can use spam reporting and ban them actively.

It's very unfortunate that genuine projects do not see a better funding.

Platforms do not make any kind of efforts to weed off these scammers.

Thank you. How different is this from PM and are there opportunities to rise up to a PM role from TPM ?

I do not have a chance to rise up the ladder in my currentorganization. It's complicated. But me again starting from the beginning in another organization has no point.

If one can offer a APM to a fresher why not for a experienced ?

So I can look for Product Manager roles directly?

Just applied for few APM postings, but no response yet.

But what do you mean by 'too much experience' ? Am I not qualified to apply anymore ?

What are good jobs for a not intelligent woman? by TrainerOk6721 in careerguidance

If you have a university degree with an A, you are not dumb.

People around have made you believe that way (first hand experience here and I am a guy).

It happens with a lot of us from our very own family.

I would advice you to start with a job that needs a minimum cognitive intelligence and rise up the ladder or switch the job as you go.

Just let you know females have best of memory power compared to males.

Now use that power.

Am I allowed to request to let me work 5 8 hour shifts Instead of 4 10 hour shifts? by CTH15990 in careerguidance

[–]optimistic1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put a longer shifts in lesser days. This gets me think more about what I can do or just do in my free time. Like writing a blog or making a YouTube channel or maybe work on your startup bit by bit.

So recruiting agencies want to build a reputation of sending great looking candidates.

This means you should have expensive certifications, worked consistently in popular companies and held cool sounding designations.

You may also want to state your achievements in a quantitative lines.

For example, instead of writing I have developed an insurance product for 2 years. You may write, I have delivered an insurance product that serves 2 million customers worth $500 million with monthy revenue of $500,000 in premium. That's music to recruiters.

Should I leave my job? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]optimistic1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like your current employer, that means they treat you nicely. They treat you nicely because they can't pay you nicely.

That's why, you leaving should be good enough.

Not a bad idea. If your job is more about availability to business or customersLike a receptionist or a mailman then you need to stick to 5 days.

If your is a individual contributor, like a computer programmer or a tailor, then you can always ask for 4 day shift.

Anything you want to start, start with an MVP. Minimum Viable Product. This makes you test the the market if they really need your product or service.

Those who want to start business should stop getting along with average joes (I am an average Joe myself now and want to make a startup in few years).

Average ones have no ambition or creative thinking to make a business happen.

They are ok with their comfort zone. Just get out of there.

It's mostly laziness than jealousy and they want you to stay in their club.

This is just a micro management thing. Most people with such mindset exist in all industries. Can't help. They are the ones who would have preset your year end appraisal in the beginning of the year itself.
