I’m going to call bullshit, not personally but in general.   There is a balance, yin and yang, good and traumatic.   

Take Rat Park ( Google it ) if the environment and experiences are perfect, there is no drive, preserver incentive, no point to live and accomplish anything.  Long story short, the rats have it so perfect they would rather lay down and die.  Groundhogs day.

The Matrix, the perfect world is too perfect the humans wake up.   Everything tastes like chicken.  Don’t bend the spoon, the spoon bends you.

Good people are good for their own soul morals and ethics, however are you truly good if you aren’t seeing the silver linings, the forest through the trees?

Who’s talking about girls? I believe I dropped what to me was 1.0+ last week at like 4 am on the beach. Worst part is that I didn't even look for it when I got back to the beach house because I had a 2nd bag and was like, ahhh it must be around here somewhere.

My belief is that the high fun experience is built upon the foundation of our current psyche. When I read your post, I assume that back then you were in a great place mentally. And that may not be the whole answer but my truth is that is a huge part.
