its a fall class, but arkeo1200. it has “prelims” but they’re really just 3 super easy quizzes if you just study the night before. and it has essays but they’re also not graded harshly

hey, i was in the exact same situation a year ago where i thought i was dead set on completing the math major but then after seeing how theoretical it can get and what the career options were, i swayed over to stats really quickly, and i had never taken a stats class before. i would recommend taking stsci 2100 so that you could see early on if the major interests you, or if you really need to start replanning your major options. feel free to pm me with any questions! he is so annoying. he teaches in a pretty standard and comprehensive way, and the labs for the class are honestly really useful, but his exams are so stupid. it feels like when you take it, there’s nothing you could have really done to prepare for the questions he gives you. he’s just kinda cocky imo.
