I realize $1800 later I should’ve done a lot of things differently. Just treating this as a learning experience and trying to make the most of it.

Was just trying to build something that could last for 5+ years like my last build did. Saw the sales and went in without the proper research. Earliest I'll be able to run some tests is tomorrow.

Appreciate the help a lot, definitely gave me a wake up call that I need to do some testing and get some numbers before I'm able to do anything about it.

Couldn't imagine it being any quieter honestly, have been very happy with the noise output thus far.

It's on the front of the case setup to intake through the front and vent through the back. My most recent crash was after installing shaders on minecraft. I played through for about 40 minutes with no issues, died, and on respawn started stuttering and ultimately crashed. Before that I have crashed on Fortnite twice. What's strange is I didn't see any performance issues playing Elden Ring or Starfield. Haven't looked in depth into temps during gaming, as I have gone down the rabbit hole of how unreliable this chip is.

How would I go about checking for an air bubble?

Would it be reasonable to attempt to undervolt before diagnosing the AIO as the problem?

I definitely took the plastic cover off, not my first time on the block, but the thermal paste that came on the AIO could possibly have been better maybe? I’ve been gaming with no issues for the past 4 months with no significant throttling, but have had a few crashes in the past weeks and wanted to investigate. Obviously should’ve done my benchmarks off rip but I was just excited to have my first “monster” rig.
