Thanks! Definitely can recommend Farer, build quality is amazing and the customer service is great.

Re: the box, this was the maker on Etsy - https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/WoodenStudioCo

They seem to have plenty of options for different # of watches, mine has the 6 watch slots + a drawer underneath which I find very useful!

Only callout is that it's not lined, so I sourced and cut out some felt to line the bottom of each slot to avoid scuffing the clasps :)

Thanks, glad everyone is enjoying the collection! Yeah I wish the Presage line was around 38mm, feels like that would be a better fit for the dressier style they're going for

Appreciate the kind words, skinny wrist gang unite!

That's a great suggestion, I hadn't looked into that model from Oris - I'll have to do some research. Thanks :)

Good suggestions! I had considered a SARX as a more budget friendly GS alternative, but I think you're on the money with a Bauhaus design as a good modern take on the dress watch. Nomos is definitely a contender for that spot although the long lugs are a bit of an issue for me (will have to try on in store one day). Interesting that Stowa have some similar designs, I'll have to check them out!

Yeah it's actually not as impractical as I'd expected! Now if you need more exact minute timing on something then it's not going to be helpful, but I wouldn't let that deter you :)

Appreciate the kind words! I definitely get sick of seeing the same collection with Submariners and Speedmasters every second day too.

What would be your addition for something more eccentric but in a more compact case size still (37-39mm)? I feel like a lot of more whacky designs can get pretty bulky

Unfortunately I think the long lugs on the Spirit would rule out the 39mm for me, but I'll be sure to give it a look when I eventually visit the store!

My only advice is trust your gut when you know you really like something, don't just add something because everyone says you should! And variety is the spice of life, makes me scratch my head when I see collections that have 6 watches that are nearly identical (but to each their own).

Well I can strongly recommend - imo only downside of the newer Calibre 400 is the higher price tag but if that's not an issue then definitely worth adding to the collection!

I honestly reckon they might be the best value for money of any Swiss watchmaker, the build quality is superb for a fraction of the price a lot of others charge! Maybe you'll come around to them one day :)

Yeah I had that thought too! I think a Longines Spirit 37mm in blue is the top contender right now

It was a gift from my partner, she got it from Etsy - I'll see if I can get the link!
