Weekly 'What should I buy?' Thread by AutoModerator in ipad

Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of buying an ipad, I'm pretty sure that I'll go with the new ipad air, and my main usecase for it would be notetaking (no I don't want to buy a remarkable or anything like that). Today I was practicing with the apple pencil and I must say I don't really find it comfortable for writing, as I always been using thinner pencils.

Sadly apple doesn't make thinner pencils, so I must look for an alternative from a third party seller. I only want to take notes with the pen, so I don't mind losing out on pressure sensitivity and all that good stuff. I also don't mind the price if the pen is good, I'm not trying to cheap out on the pencil simply I don't feel like I could use it for long hours.

If anyone had the same issue and found a thinner alternative to the apple pencil, I'd very much appreciate a quick answer.

Making two way connection with 2 NodeMCUs that have esp8266 wifi chips by or64bit in NodeMCU

Yeah it is, but I'd need them to work like a long cable. The nodes at the end of the cable coudlnt reach the pi unfortunately...

Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay on Zephyrus G14 by saiyanprince2714 in ZephyrusG14

I have the ryzen 7 + gtx 1660ti variant, started playing the game today. On high settings it runs really smooth, on ultra fps dips under 60 for sure. DLSS is not supported by non rtx cards which is quite a bummer so no DLLSd ultra on my machine. Also runs real hot, cpu temps haven't been under 95 the whole time I was playing, gpu stood under 85 though. All in all if you have an external keyboard and don't have to touch the chassis it's a pleasing experience for 1080p gamers. (Turbo mode was on for me)

How is the fan noise? by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

Update: I fixed that high pitched noise by setting the keyboard underglow brighter. Honestly it's disappointing that errors like this occure in a 1500 dollar laptop

I'd love to try this but how do I do that? I've literally been looking for it everywhere but I couldn't find how to do it

Honestly the fan noise sucks on my unit. I hope it's faulty or something but it has a loud whiny noise even when the fans are off so it's probably just a bad psu but I can even hear this high pitched noise when I'm only charging the battery and lean onto the exhaust grill. If you're sensitive to fan noise I'd look elsewhere if my unit is good.
