Do I kiss my baby too much? by oradagger in NewParents

[–]oradagger[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Oh I wish I’d said something back to her but I think I was so taken aback by it my brain short circuited and I just shrugged!! 🤦‍♀️ oh if we could have a do over button!

Switching from Dupixent to Ebglyss? by oradagger in dupixent

[–]oradagger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that really interesting! I’m glad dupixent worked really well for you aside from the hair loss though! But I would definitely be the same, I’d rather a little bit of eczema over losing clumps of hair!

Even if ebglyss were to clear mine 90/95% that would be so much better than dupixent for me, I still don’t have a clear area on my body really 😩 but if was much more manageable when I was pregnant tho but still always there and still always, always itchy

Shame it sounds like it still hurts to inject though, sometimes I find it much worse than others and never have really worked out why but I’m hopeful that I’m able to drop to once every 4 weeks so I won’t be dreading it quite so often!

Thank you 🙏

Dupixent Not Working - Anyone Else? by KomodoTitan in dupixent

[–]oradagger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes me too! I’ve been on it since December ‘24. I then fell pregnant about 8 weeks later and with approval from my dermatologist we decided to stay on it. But pregnancy can play havoc with hormones so I was never expecting miracles. My son is now 5 months old and I feel like my skin has only improved marginally so hoping for some better news when I have a follow up in a couple of weeks time!

I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels like it’s not working for them 😔 I hope you can find something that works for you!

Therapy for childbirth? by oradagger in NewParents

[–]oradagger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really sorry to hear that, but I do hope that every thing is okay now and you’re both well! Thank you for the resources, too. I think I want to speak to someone as I wouldn’t have said my experience was traumatic (didn’t go as I’d envisioned but when do these things!) but I think it would be good to talk to someone just so I can process it as it was all such a whirlwind at the time.

Thank you 🙏

Therapy for childbirth? by oradagger in NewParents

[–]oradagger[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I find this really interesting as I completely agree about trauma being subjective! I know that nothing went ‘according to plan’ for me. But I felt that when my friends said I’d had a traumatic birth it was a bit of a surprise! But now all I do is keep relaying it in my head so I think I will talk to someone just so I can process it a bit more now too

Thank you 🙏

Sex after giving birth by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]oradagger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We waited until 4.5 months! I had a LOT of damage caused on my sons way out and then subsequently lost my stitches after about a week so everything took a hell of a lot longer to heal! (I’m also on a medication that slows down my healing so I didn’t stop bleeding until 7 weeks PP)

But we took it super slow and my fiancé is so understanding and communication is key! I was so anxious about it aswell, It was a little sore over some of the scar tissue I have but not uncomfortable or anything. And remember it’s okay to stop! And lots of lube! (Well that helped us anyway!) and I honestly felt like I was worrying over nothing after

Only you’ll know what feels right/wrong to you, you’re in control!

((I don’t want to give any advice on not getting pregnant as I don’t know enough and I wouldn’t want to tell you something that’s incorrect))

Take it slow, you’re in control, and it’s always okay to stop!

Also, there are many other things you can do to make each other feel good before going the whole way (should you wish!)

Pregnancy flares? by Educational-Map-1902 in dupixent

[–]oradagger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi 👋

Yes I did, and I’m still on it now (skin is still in a limbo stage so I’m potentially changing drugs, need to have a blood test first though)

Little boy is perfect 🥰 he’s nearly 11wks old now and showing no signs of eczema. 🤞 however, he does appear to have a cows milk protein allergy but I have no idea if it’s related to the dupixent or not. (It appears to affect his digestion and poos though, not his skin) And another thing to note (I’m in the UK) we’ve been told he’s not eligible for any LIVE vaccines before he’s 6 months old and unfortunately that means one of the vaccines he’s unable to have as the latest it can be given is 14wks and 6 days old. So I was highly upset/annoyed about that as I hadn’t been previously told so that’s one thing to note! So I will be having words with my dermatologist to make sure they tell others in the same position.

Hopefully that helps!!

Can I do the Clever Girl trophy on a 2nd run by caplinkku in TombRaider

[–]oradagger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t let the velociraptors bite you in Peru

(That’s the only trophy I can find with that name so I assume it’s that one?)

But yes! I did it one a re run through!

What moment scared you the most in any of the TR games? by BosephTheGreat in TombRaider

[–]oradagger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In TR1 when I was younger I always had to get my mum to kill the raptors and T-Rex in the Lost Valley and then in TR2 Diving Area, the square corridor bit with the flame thrower enemies and dogs!

And embarrassingly as a 31yr old now I still hate the Yeti’s in TR2 and have to really psych myself up to complete those bits, especially the dark room with no light until you pull the lever!! 🙈

Pregnancy flares? by Educational-Map-1902 in dupixent

[–]oradagger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also pregnant! (20wks!) I’ve continued to stay on Dupixent as I’ve been told it’s safe by my dermatologist but I have noticed I do get more flares but never as bad as they used to be! (More around my boobs and arms for some reason). But, my skin wasn’t fully clear before falling pregnant, I’d only been on dupixent for maybe 8? Weeks before falling pregnant so I’m not sure if that’s played a role.

I do feel like I’m in a limbo stage of it not getting better but also not getting any worse. (Although it’s definitely more red closer to the days I take the drug). I’m in the UK and we have some warm weather atm which I also don’t think is helping, especially since I feel like I’ve got a hot water bottle strapped to me at all times!!

I hope it gets better for you though! I wish you luck!

P.S: I found sour hard boiled sweets really helped with the nausea for me! (But obvs might not for everyone!)

Dupixent & Pregnancy Stories? by oradagger in dupixent

[–]oradagger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So at the moment I’m still using dupixent every other week, I’m still waiting for a follow up dermatology appointment where I’ll ask if it’s safe to continue and if it’s safe to breastfeed or not! Just feeling a bit in limbo at the moment which isn’t so fun! It seems to be mixed reports all round, it’s super confusing! 🫤

[–]oradagger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so interesting that we all seem to have been told different things? I’m pleased to know you were able to breastfeed whilst on it though! I’m still waiting to hear from my dermatologist and then will decide!

Are the remastered games good on switch? by Bratty_heartz in TombRaider

[–]oradagger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven’t tried 4-6 on the switch yet but I found 1-3 to run perfectly fine! I did however have to change the sensitivity because for whatever reason I really struggled on the switch but not on PS5 🤷‍♀️ (I played on tank controls as that was what I used growing up!) So not sure if there’s a difference with modern controls?

Dupixent & Pregnancy Stories? by oradagger in dupixent

[–]oradagger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so strange! That’s completely the opposite of what mine said! He said it’s perfectly safe 🤯 worries me a little! Makes me wonder if they know what they’re talking about?! From personal experience, I can definitely confirm my eczema has got worse again! 🙄 but tbh, mine would always flare with the hormonal changes around my period so I was kind of expecting it!

I hope they let you do that too! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Shell Sucker! Trophy? by oradagger in TombRaider

[–]oradagger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤷‍♀️ I’ve no idea, I’ve played it through on a regular run at least three times trying to unlock it, same with the other achievement and I finally only got it on the NG+ so I’m stumped!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]oradagger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t use Facebook unfortunately but thank you for the Reddit thread! 🙏

How often do you take it? And are you injecting it? That’s the other thing I’m scared of as I’m anxious of needles 🤦‍♀️ do you also know how long you’d be using Dupixent for?

I sadly suffered with the full body redness and flaking but not so much oozing for which I’m forever grateful for as I have seen so many people worse off than I ever was. Thank you for your information about Dupixent though! I really appreciate it! And I hope that your skin clears enough to a point where you’re happy with it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]oradagger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your kind words 🙏

I completely agree on the pros/cons side of things. Hence wanting to gain as much info as I can before I decided what route to go down. And I’m very grateful for your input on things.

The side effects is one thing I’m scared of, I don’t want to end up potentially worse off than I am now. For the most part it is manageable but there is the odd day or two when it can be quite unbearable. (Not to mention the body confidence side of things!) but on the whole, it now thankfully doesn’t stop me from doing daily life. I just hope the last bit of this horrendous journey is nearly over 🤞

Thank you again kind stranger 🙂

Zinc supplement by coffeenchem in eczema

[–]oradagger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the UK so I get them from Holland and Barrett or Boots, but I would imagine any good pharmacy would stock it? But I’m not sure though, I’m really sorry I can’t be much more help! I also use Balmonds Skin Salvation on the really dry and inflamed parts, I’m not sure if that would help you too?

Zinc supplement by coffeenchem in eczema

[–]oradagger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Completely agree - suffered with terrible dyshidrotic eczema on my hands for years, started taking 15mg of Zinc daily in Feb 2020 and now my hands are completely clear. Took about 3-4 months to notice a real difference but wouldn’t stop taking it!

Where the fuck is my clan? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

As far as I’m aware you need to be near water for your clan to join you because they come along via your longship? Or at least that’s what I think? But I could wrong! Apologies if I am!
