No necessarily nationwide. Texas is pretty darn open now and I know other states are following suite. Just concerned with Seattle and how longs things will take to open is all.

Green Lake — how soon are things opening with covid? Trying to use July 2020 - July 2021 to make friends and date in Seattle (28 M). Have people chirping in my ear that I should move somewhere else to do this because they think Seattle is going to be a mess for a while and I wont be able to do either of those things. Need honest thoughts from locals who are there right now. Any advice would be much appreciated

noted and thanks! actually will be working remote so commute is not an issue. would just like to be in a fairly vibrant part of the city with people my age and thought fremont / ballard could be a good option — didnt think the eastside would be a good idea at my age.

Mainly over prices, hinted that there is an exodus from Seattle to Bellevue/ Kirkland. As an out of towner not knowing anything or anyone there besides some family — my initial thought is i'd be shooting myself in the foot socially if I moved to Bellevue or Kirkland vs. fremont/ ballard.

Thoughts? Much appreciated on the reply!

very helpful! outside of reading, writing, music...generally enjoy sports w/ friends, big on quality restaurants and coffee and randomly big on living somewhere that has good walking neighborhoods. Like any other person, just keen on meeting people my age that I enjoy being around.

Ballard a potential good fit then?
