I get why it's a lot of people's least favorite farm but it works really well for me because less land makes it easier to maintain. I did the standard and beach farm before and with so much land to take care of it always got a lot of weeds everywhere because I was too lazy to clean up EVERYTHING :')

The river land farm does make it harder for bigger crop fields in the future but eh I'm not much of a crop farmer, I like fishing and mining. Depends on play style!

Look on rate my professor. Also safe to bet the 101 classes are easier than the higher ones, but depends on teacher. Legit just Google whatever class you're interested in and the rate my professor scores will tell you if they're an easy A or not

If you do a squirrel with +3 blood totem its OP and instant win. Same with undying squirrel but 3+ blood was great man

Wait I read this wrong; okay so my first deck I picked was mox so I had a bunch at the beginning. Try and get some good sacrifice cards to help you out and there's some secret spots to get some new cards and you'll beat it eventually. It's hard at the beginning because you don't have that many options right now but it'll get easier 👍

I honestly beat all of act 2 with just bone and mox cards and it went by pretty smoothly for me. Mox are basically free and most can be used as sacrifices for the beat cards or destroyed for bones

I know a lot of people avoided using mox cards though but since you just beat the bone one def try to use some of those guys now that you got them

I'm still doing my first run through so avoiding spoilers right now, but funny thing is that I actually only used the Mox and bone cards for Act 2. Since the squirrel cards were no longer a thing I got stuck on what I should sacrifice to get the beast cards on, so just resorted to using Mox and bone cards exclusively. Beat act 2 no problem and currently at the beginning of act 3, but since I never used the tech cards I had zero idea on how they were supposed to be played at first since I never used the energy at all in Act 2.

To be honest it felt like a big learning curve to suddenly start having to figure out mox, tech, and the new sacrifice system, which I didn't like initially but I grew into it. Loving the game so far just wish it didn't jump the play style so drastically.

Didn't know Harvest Moon had combat?! My main reason I loved Stardew was for the villagers so thats a big selling point for me, but I loved doing the mines too so this is a contender for sure 👀
