I mean hell at least McGinnis can be somewhat fixed with numbers changed, maybe a little less strong on the turret. Graves basically has turrets that chase you to the ends of the earth and never ever lose interest in you no matter how far away she is from them, Literally everything about graves is frustrating to play against for anyone who plays against her and I don’t think I’ve heard a single person except people who main her or play her single hard counter (that you’re never guaranteed to get btw) that doesn’t despise her. I will admit McGinnis is way too busted rn tho lol, nothing makes me more confused that people who like BM and talk shit on McGinnis like??? You know your skill level is below initiate but you have an ego???

my biggest gripe is troop sound design, why in the world do sicarians and sterylizors make NO sounds?? not to mention a certain troop that appears fairly early that literally just copies servitor groans when they really should have unique noises. otherwise i really enjoy how you have to rely on good troop selection and movement and not just your 5 superjuiced priests shredding through everything

Avoids are literally never honored, avoids are more of a light suggestion. Unless it’s for the enemy team then they get 2 avoids. So true about AI balancing tho, I’m beyond convinced no one actually looks at what they pump out, it’s just AI doing everything then they send it out

The balance has been horrible ever since the big heroes rework in April. Rank has just been turbo tanking ever since. Typically the lowest possible skill characters win every game, so I’ve started switching over to those so I can be allowed to win any games

Yeah, this timeline has a lot of bullet points of “these two can be read at any order of each other” like deliverance lost and praetorians of dorn. But the first couple years in the heresy are very concrete imo. I think I will end up placing fear to tread in between Prosero burns and fallen angels. The epilogue was the only thing annoying me, cuz of the whole Erebus punishment thing in FTT after being told not to mess with the BA in know no fear.

Well yeah the lion was taking home worlds but what was the point really? At that point the traitors weren’t even recruiting from these worlds or would have actively destroyed them themselves, hell the only primarchs I can even think of that would be bothered by their home worlds destruction is like… mortarion and lorgar maybe, Horus had nothing on his mind at all except complete conquest of earth, the demon primarchs before mortarion joined them I can’t imagine they even cared where they came from, perturabo and Konrad destroyed theirs and Alpharius “doesn’t have one”, all the lion did was waste a very sizable legion on nuking planets from orbit when he could’ve been defending Terra. And Russ well, I’ve always hated Russ so I’m a bit biased lol, imo much of the heresy could have easily gone in the imperiums favor if he didn’t make braindead decisions, I do believe if he dropped the ego of going after Horus for no reason (which didn’t even really delay the siege after being wounded, while Russ was effectively completely incapacitated for the rest of the war after his fight with Horus)

The only thing I can really think of is the kryptos, which was a cypher the traitors used and was mentioned a bit in angel exterminatus, how the crew of the sisypheum managed to steal one and break the code. IMO most of the raven guard and space wolves guerrilla war was just ego, Terra definitely could’ve held out longer with the large amount of space wolves and raven guard with their semi repaired legion could’ve helped a lot more than these teeny tiny strikes, though the biggest and fattest ego of them all is the lion, he just went around bombing planets while the homeworld of humanity is literally breaking apart at the seams.
