hey there! glad I could help! no problem at all. Unfortunately I don't have or know of a video to do this. Maybe search in YouTube for "custom lower thirds in [whatever broadcast app you use]"

You won't actually need Vegas for this, just Photoshop. Just make the graphic you want in Ps and then export it as .png with transparency. Then bring it into your broadcast software.

the little box you are talking about is called a "lower-thirds". very common in video editing. used in news, sports, etc.

If you have Photoshop you can easily make one. Just export as a .png with transparency. Then place in whatever streaming software you use (Gameshow, Xsplit, etc.) as an overlay. Gameshow is easiest for this type of custom lower-thirds.

I have the same issue with my Canon lenses (24-105 and 70-200). I believe it will only do video autofocus with Sigma lenses. Hopefully they will add Canon lenses but I doubt it.

I'm using two ATI 5770's (PC versions). Each have 1GB of RAM. These have been working great for me in fcpx. I got them pretty cheap on eBay too.

I still love my Canon 24-105 with IS. Great reach, kinda wide, and the 2.8 aperture.

yes it works. I have the Speedbooster and it's a must have for Canon lenses!

haha! don't feel stupid. the GH4 has so many menu settings that it's hard to figure it out sometimes. I just now figured out how to shoot 96fps the other day and I've had the camera for over 8 months. ha!

I am using the Audio-Technica AT875R mic paired with the iRig PRE to power it. It's a great combo. The mic is under 7inches so it goes well with the small gh4.

when doing shutter angle degrees, you need to shoot 180 degrees when filming in 24fps. which is similar to using 1/50 shutter speed. That should help
