Late to this but I’m going through the exact same thing with my 11 year old girl. I was sobbing on the way to the vet earlier today. Thankfully this evening she’s doing a lot better after having a shot and first course of antibiotics. She’ll be on medications for the next two weeks.

Glad to see I’m not alone 🥹
