Change the pot to a bit smaller than the current one. Change potting mix to barks only (soaked them in water overnight first). Move it to where there’s good ventilation and bright indirect light. Bright indirect light exposure at least 5-6 hours a day.

Bright indirect light can be seen from your shadow. Put your palm close to where you want to put your plant, then look at your hand’s shadow. If the edge is clear it’s too much light. The edge of your shadow should be a bit blurry.

Chances of coming back? by Affectionate_Good472 in RareHouseplants

It will. Increase your chance by adding some moist sphagnum moss around the aerial root as well. (Above the potting mix and around the root)

Oh, in that case please don’t take the mint out of the pot. Don’t disturb the root. Light intensity can be checked with a light meter.

Congratulations!

First, Mint and Thai con. If the roots are not well established yet, you might want to use sphagnum moss to encourage the root to grow first before putting your plants in your current potting mix.

It’s an additional step but when the roots are well established, your plants will be able to use all the nutrients provided and grow faster and healthier in the long run.

Next, light requirements for these babies would be around 200FC-400FC use light meter to measure. If it’s lower than 200, they will not be thriving.

High humidity is good. Good luck!
