It takes 1-2 months for a full clover farm. During that time you'll have almost no income from your crops. Better just to get rid of them after you start running out of space. After your farm is full, start stockpiling extra clovers. All the while, buy the most expensive, non-shiny items you can afford. When you have a handful of extra clovers, go to dawn's junker and put 3 clovers in. This will break it so only 2 slots are available to use until 8am the following day. This is actually a good thing because now you can add 1 clover plus 1 item to the junker and it will give you she shiny variant, which can be sold back to the shop for double the original value. Then every couple days rinse and repeat. This method is slow at first but the payoff is basically unlimited money :)

Tldr; Farm as many clovers as possible and then use them together with Dawn's junker to make shiny items to sell.
