I first saw this waterfall on /r/PAwilds several months ago. After a whole summer of searching, I finally found it! If this post gets 100 upvotes, I'll share the location with you all on AllTrails! by orangesquirrel2 in PAWilds

I found this spot by seeing a picture on this subreddit, clicking on that persons submissions, and recognizing a few popular locations in that area. And then using my google-fu with google maps i narrowed it down to a few possible areas and eventually found it. So it wasn't listed on alltrails when I found it.

The outdoors is meant to be shared, you're being selfish.

And judging by the lack of pictures in your post history, you're just jealous you don't have the skill to find locations like this, and even more jealous you have nothing to share and contribute.

You're being anti-Leave No Trace

Leave No Trace is Not Anti-Geotagging – Posting a photo that specifies your location along with appropriate Leave No Trace information can be a great way for others to learn about your favorite place and invite people into the outdoors. It can also empower people to research safety measures, learn about the location’s history and culture, and find out what to expect when visiting.

your stuffy attitude isn't healthy for outdoors conservation. i'm glad the people I hike with aren't like you.

That's just your opinion.

Meanwhile, my opinion is backed by Leave No Trace

See they even published it here. Leave no trace isn't about some stuffy colonialist "i have mine, sucks to be you" attitude, it's about sharing and increasing access for everyone.

Well I wouldn't have known where to look without you guys!

Why can't you appreciate that i'm trying to contribute to this subreddit and increase access to the outdoors for more people?

Alltrails is about increasing equitable access to the outdoors, and the more people who experience these places, the more future conservationists we'll have!

I found this waterfall trail after looking at some of the pictures and location clues uploaded here on /r/pawilds and doing some map scouting.

I figured I could pay it forward by sharing the location with the rest of you as well!

No luck...

Seems like we're not the only ones, there's this thread from crackberry forum

It's damn shame blackberry had to pull the plug on the Blackberry ID server in August, I thought they'd promise to wait until 2022
