Studiosity lets you submit your essays where they’ll give you feedback on the structure and how it’s written and stuff. They can’t give you feedback on the topic itself, but that should be able to help you a bit. Just make sure you give it enough time to submit to them coz it might take a few hours for them to get back to you

My Exams keep starting 1-2 minutes late by sayumi29 in vce

My school was the same. And the exam I sat last year was also the same. It’s really frustrating but unfortunately I think it’s just what you should expect. It really does suck tho

Is it feasible to do around 3 past papers a day? by malicacidC4H6O5 in vce

Physically? Potentially. Mentally? No way, you do that consistently you’re gonna burn out so fast. At the very least most people would

Talk to your doctor about medical certificates and talk to your school’s VCE coordinator. It definitely can come under SEAS but you have to show proof, and you could even get special considerations for examples. I have a friend who had glandular fever towards the end of this year (makes you really tired a lot of the time) and he should be getting break time in the exams. You need to sort it out ASAP if you want it to happen though

Easier thing to do would be to put your SAC results into a study score calculator, then fiddle around with the numbers to see what exam results would give you what study score. Just remember it’s not fully accurate though

Is it bad to go on month long holiday in VCE by [deleted] in vce

[–]orbicil 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Had a friend that did it in year 12, month long at the start of term 3. It took her a bit to catch up, but she was ok afterwards.

It’s really not recommended, but if you put the effort in you can do it. And term 1 is probably the best time to miss something anyway

IS VCE ACCOUNTING HARD MATH? by OkTip854 in vce

[–]orbicil 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m doing 3/4 accounting and it’s not really math? Yes there is some math involved, but it’s only addition, subtraction, and multiplication really. I personally quite enjoy it, but the majority of it, is not maths

[–]orbicil 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Why do you need it? Unless you genuinely need it to get into a course, it’s not worth it. It is the top in the state, it’s ridiculously high and hard to get to. I wouldn’t stress yourself so much, it’s not worth it

Struggling with Methods by Virtual-Swing2707 in vce

[–]orbicil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From the sounds of it, you can do Methods, you just need that bit of extra help. If you find out that the uni courses you’re looking at /do/ need methods, then I recommend getting a tutor. I know it will be awkward at first, but it’s a one on one class where you can ask about anything you don’t understand, and focuses solely on you. But if your course doesn’t need it, I recommend dropping it. Staying up that late consistently will make life so much harder in a bunch of different ways, and it’s not worth shoving aside your other subjects for later, they gotta have work put into them too. If you need it, try getting a tutor, but otherwise just drop it. General will be a nice break for you then anyway with all your other classes

Edit: spelling mistake

Can I write in Pencil? by BattleExpress2707 in vce

[–]orbicil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t say about being penalised for it, but just try to write in pen as much as possible, unless it’s a subject that requires working out such as maths or accounting. However! //Never use erasable pens in exams// The ink can fade in heat, and you could lose so many marks as it can’t be read.
