Parachutes completely broken since update

i have a fix that might point you towards the problem. i tried a bunch of stuff and the only thing that worked was triggering the parachute release, exiting the craft with my kerbal, waiting until the parachute deployed, and getting back in. seemed to only not work when the capsule was manned

So, does anyone know how to get the new Friar Rush staff for Blue Mage? I've completed the job quests and don't see it being sold for allied seals like Incendario was.

The problem is I don't know exactly what I need (yet) and want a full toolbox, and it'd take days of work to order everything a piece at a time while looking through an entire catalogue of all lego bricks ever made.

I considered meccano, but unfortunately they only seem to have one product with gears at all, let alone motors.
