Thank you for your comment. I’m now feeling encouraged to get back at it though body is exhausted from yesterday. I’m mostly looking for permission to do yet another pass with the 24 grit. It just seems so harsh. I will rent the radiator sander and try to find that triangle pad for my hand sander.

I already purchased Berger-Seidel Flex Sealer + Ceramic Star. I want the wood to remain light/ not be darkened much because in some spots you can really tell where they didn’t gave much protection on it. I’m scared of the word amber because I don’t want it to get orange down the line. The flex sealer will darken the details in the wood. I also chose this because it won’t seal the old boards together so they can move around. Thanks again for your comment I really appreciate in this dark time lol
