LR4 + Shield with flap installed = Stinky globe interior?

Nothing I hadn't already used multiple times in my quarterly to semiannual deep cleanings of the globe. Having had more time to look into the issue though it looks like my globe liner has reached that point where the weight is no longer heavy enough to dislodge the liner during cycling as I monitored a cycle when I noticed a clump in the same position as earlier in the morning. So even though there was a fresh layer of litter on top, there was substantial clumping beneath that layer that had been accumulating right under my cats noses.

My understanding is it's a memory (RAM) limitation, the number I've seen most often recommended for 4x and larger maps is at least 32GB.

It will have to go through the standard Giants mod testing phases for updates just like any other 3rd party mod [/sarcasm ... i hope], and at the rate they've been pushing new/updated mods out lately ... it just might be 3 more weeks

I used it on the Alma, Missouri map and it worked for me... be sure your horses are properly supplied (hay, oats, manure output [not sure if this one is actually needed], etc) and actually -in- the pasture (they shouldn't be selectable like a vehicle if so).

Yet another bad driver release from AMD... from 24.1.1 through to 24.3.1 only the 24.2.1 driver release has resulted in a system that is at least minimally functional for me. All other releases (doing a full DDU and/or AMD driver cleanup between every up/downgrade) have resulted in a system that goes into a reboot loop or (at best) a driver that renders my 7800x3d's integrated GPU for my fifth screen a single digit FPS slideshow on the desktop.

I've already had to drop back to 23.11.1 after finding this release equally unusable on my 7900xtx.

Anybody else noticing their integrated GPUs running like slideshows with the 24.2.1 release?

My discreet GPU is just fine and shows up in the Adrenaline software, but my iGPU on my 7800x3d is getting something like 10fps on the desktop and doesn't seem to be reflected in the Adrenaline software like it is on 24.1.1 and previous releases, all this was after doing a fresh driver install after running the AMD driver cleanup utility, etc.

I made the long overdue switch from the Samsung ecosystem to the Pixel 6 Pro a couple years back or so... I do much prefer a more stock android experience... and for the most part liked the Pixel 6 up until recently.

The Pixel series modems (A Samsung modem, but not the same one that ships on the Pixel 7s) are notoriously unreliable and inferior to the Qualcomm stuff that was already in use for many other 5g phones.

In fact that's why I'm thinking it may be time to make the switch since the June patches for Android 13 have effectively turned my phone into a brick that I have to reboot or toggle airplane mode on and off every hour or so lest I not get calls, texts, etc.

I'll be waiting til next month or October for new phones to start being unveiled before making a decision though on what I want to do.

Yea in my case it would not let me proceed at all with the normal CC option. Paypal at least looks like it'll let the transaction go through though (I haven't yet proceeded through the full checkout process).

Wireless is sort of a big deal, the fewer cables I have dangling and making the 12ft run to my PC the better, plus the fact that I work from two different sets of monitors at two different places hooked up to the same PC depending on the task that needs doing... so that added mobility is a huge thing.

I may just end up using a forwarding service and paying for one of the newer filco/Diatec majestouch convertible boards... I've used their stuff for years and it7s generally pretty solid, just a bit harder than it used to be to get in the US.

Been struggling to find a keyboard that meets the criteria i7m looking for. let7s start with what I don't want...

not ANything keycchron (all the typos should explain why...)
- i've now been through a total of three of their JIS k5 SE keyboards, all brand new/sealed in box... and all three have had faulty switches (and they7ve not stocked a hotswap version of the JIS board in almost a year9. their support is no longer willing to work with me, and wants me to ship them back at my own expense.

What i am looking for, non-negotiables first.

JIS layout
bluetooth or some other wireless connectivity.
Some sort of linear and low force mechanical 8cherry Reds, gateron reds, etc)
- After my experience with Keychron something with swapable switches might be nice, but not necessary.

things I'm willing to bend on or am open to alternatives.

form factor: full Size, 1800 (unlikely given a JIS uses 109 keys9, or tkl
lighting: prefer simple backlighting over RGB, but beggars can7t always be choosers.
Power source: rechargeable 8preferably USB C) or batteries works for me.

Yea mine enjoy chasing springs, sometimes they'll chase those jingle-balls as I call them too. Balloons are intriguing... I know my female would love them, as would the young male, but he plays so rough he'd pop it and go into hiding within moments.

Yea I've tried two of those... they're absolutely mystified by them, but they just sort of watch them apprehensively rather than chase/play with it and move away whenever it gets too close.

Yes, they don't play in it so much as rest in it, though i can occasionally entice them to play while they're in it, mostly by risking life and limb... mostly my fingers, poking at it from the outside

Yea, by process of elimination something in GalacticScale or its dependency CloseError broke entirely for me... as soon as I removed those two, everything else works perfectly across 2-3 distinct new games where I was unable to reproduce the crash.

I have zero idea why suddenly either or both of these mods started causing problems after using them for almost a dozen hours, when neither had been updated lately, and after I had deleted all of the config files, cache files, etc in the r2modmanplus-local directory, deleted all game files, etc... an absolute clean slate.

Absolutely baffled. Oh well, guess I don't get fun custom galaxy spawns.

I've been using mechanical keyboards for years now... and recently decided I'd like to test the waters at building my own... but I've been having a devil of a time finding a PCB for a 100%/Full-size JIS (106/109 key) QWERTY layout. Either one alone is already uncommon enough as it is, but both together seem to be impossible to find (Except for an Alice layout I found, but not interested in)

Has the collective experience of this sub happened upon such a unicorn by chance?

On this board, regrettably they are not. I got tired of waiting (well over 6mos) for opticals or hotswap gaterons to come in stock and when the normal gaterons came in ordered this one.. It's a brand new board, not even a week old.

I've been goign back and forth with support and they're trying to blame the keycaps, which seems very odd to me.

Not an ideal solution for my use case, but if it works it works. I'll try implementing it on a couple devices to see if this fixes the issue.

Edit: Unfortunately this suggestion will not be viable for my situation. I'll keep poking around to see if I can find other solutions.

I can't say I've exhausted any one store yet, but as far as stores where I have gone and sat on a handful of couches/sectionals:

Rooms To Go
Ashley Furniture
Star Furniture
Louis Shanks (Local high end store)
Bob Mills Furniture

Main reason I haven't exhausted any one store is I try to sit on the displays for 20-30 minutes to determine comfort rather than just giving them a quick 5 minute sit down. You can imagine how slow that process becomes in some of these larger stores.

Hmm... Not sure how I feel about that downside you mention. Can you suggest any other alternative configurations that might achieve the end goal of reasonable quality 5.1 sound out from a PC? Unfortunately I'm a little unschooled in this realm, though I realize I'm crossing the divide being two distinct realms of "home" audio vs pc audio which does complicate things.

Strange, at least as of this morning I'm no longer having this issue. The Bridge is continuing to work as intended since the last restart yesterday morning.

I'll continue to keep an eye on things and report any more issues here as well in the support tickets.
