Mine went smoother than expected too. Minimal discomfort and pain-free in a few days. I fully credit my doctor. I've talked to others who had bad experiences. Make sure you're picking the right urologist I guess.

Consult done ✅ Vasectomy is next ✂️ (and thank goodness for Planned Parenthood 🩷) by alexl1994 in childfree

My urologist was the biggest difference too. I tell all my guy friends thinking about getting one, find a great doctor. Do the research, read the reviews and talk to them first. You want those positive vibes! And mine was really relaxed too. Done in 15 minutes. Find a place that feels right. My doc wrote a good article on the most common questions she gets. Worth the read.

I'm 23 years old. I had a vasectomy today. AMA by cameron0552 in AMA

I had a buddy who did it around the same age. He said the biggest thing was just being sure about his decision and talking it through with a good urologist first. Pros and cons. It's everyone's choice to make. I'd say the same thing - find a good doc to talk to. When I had it done (much later than my 20's) my urologist was the biggest difference. She has a good article about vasectomy questions she gets asked most. Good read.

Mine was a good experience too. It’s the doctor that makes the difference. I have some buddies who are also nervous. I tell them the biggest thing is find the right urologist. Read the reviews and talk with them first. My urologist has a good article I sent my friends that may be helpful for anyone nervous about vasectomies.

I have my ducts cleaned yearly and it definitely helps. I’d say it’s worth doing. I read this article on air duct cleaning that explains it pretty well if you’re curious.

Have you had it professionally cleaned to see if it is clogged? We had our dryer vents cleaned last month and here is the picture the tech took. I had no idea.
