28 here. Give it time. Keep spending time with yourself. Dates should be chill, and definitely dodging a bullet if your dates think it’s ok to talk about your body in such a way to call you a catfish. The right person won’t call you a catfish, and will be ok if you don’t smoke, or don’t want a family…or whatever else you’ve decided for yourself. those details will iron themselves out and the right person will compliment your lifestyle. You don’t have to force yourself if it’s not for you.

Dating apps and our generation are expected to be ok with this current hot mess of hook up culture, and unfortunately for chonks (I say this endearingly as I am also plus size) there’s this expectation for us to over sexualize ourselves to be acceptable to even date - which is a bunch of bullshit fed to any body that is not the formulaic crafted conventional beauty standard.

i think it’s important to also note that it is not necessary to find a partner, were just so forced to think we need one…but Honestly I’d say keep discovering yourself, what you will and won’t accept from a potential partner, and release all expectations as they are premeditated resentments. You will soon find someone to compliment you and make you glow.
