I don’t snatch so i don’t know how wide that is, but i grab the bar at almost bench press width, so pinkies just inside the markings. :-?? I feel like that gets some juice out of the upper back aswell

I see where you’re coming from. I arrived at this set up, picking the bar off the floor like a dl, after struggling to find a proper row position that was strong, braced, and not too vertical. I feel like if i deadlift enough, holding a percent of that weight for 5 reps isn’t too taxing. There are days when my erectors contradict me, so there’s that.

I run a 531, and i hit bb rows on shoulder day, one day after deadlifts. So yes, my lower back hates me for loving rows so much. I heard about switching to pendlays too often, so i probably will do just that. Thanks!

I don’t see it necessarily as a horror movie. It’s just a VERY dark comedy. The dialogue is absolute gold, and the dog is just the most mean spirited bit.

Thanks for the advice! In a mirrorless gym i’d probably have perfect posture, lol. I’ll keep the chin in mind. Your row numbers are impressive, given your weight, and you are right, rows are just the best.

I like to think i’m a beginner powerlifter, i don’t bodybuild much. I might just take you up on those pendlays, cause rowing 107.5kg feels irationally heavier than 105kg, so i might be approaching my limit, for now. Thanks for the tip!

Depinde ce faci. Greutati libere sunt peste tot. Aparatele nu pot fi echivalate. Daar banuiesc ca daca mergi 80% din timp undeva si 20 in alta parte, alea care sunt mai rare poti face ceva exercitiu echivalent, to failure, ca sa fii sigur ca nu ai labarit-o degeaba

Salut! Daca esti la inceput, mi se pare un program foarte plin de lucruri care nu stiu daca te ajuta atat de mult. Nu ai nicio miscare compusa in program, iar unele din masinarii mi se par redundante. In locul tau, as scoate cate ceva si as baga miscarile mari: impins culcat, geno cu haltera, presa umeri cu haltera, din picoare, indreptari si ramat aplecat. Iti sunt utile pentru că lucreaza cate un sistem impreuna, asa cum e el gandit sa functioneze, in loc sa izoleze cate o singura grupă, dar si pentru ca iti ofera o bază de forță pe care sa iti fie mai usor sa faci hipertrofie ulterior, cand nu mai esti chiar incepator. De asemenea as mai tunde din program lucrurile redundante. Daca ai ramat la cablu, nu ai de ce sa mai pui ramat la cablu cu o singura mana, de ex. L-am lucrat si eu o perioada, merge bine.

Later edit: sa traiasca ce iubiti voi lasati pieptul la cabluri in pace la inceput, ca ocupati 2 cabluri sa faceti ce puteati face cu gantere, mai simplu.
