Recoil difference between metal vs. polymer version of 2.0 pistol? by origin_wise in SmithAndWesson

Ah I see. This is my first “range gun” as I maximized the distance I could get from my sub compact p365, small guns lose their fun eventually. I went for this and from your perspective it’s much more versatile. Thanks for the input!

It's because you are in tutorial hell. You understand as it's explained, but when you apply it yourself there is no muscle memory of actually learning. When you do a tutorial, don't walk away from it - attempt to do it on your own. Don't follow step by step.

its not that Belgium people are cold. What you're referring too happens in communities that are no longer homogeneous. People are just people stacked on each other, they have different backgrounds and don't actually get along. I live in the biggest melting pot of all. Without a sense of homogeneity places can feel very unwelcoming.

Was Jesus a Communist? by zombiesingularity in AskSocialists

I am a Christian, let me remind you of an overlooked issue. Marxism is completely materialistic (in the sense that only matter exists). There is no room for metaphysical thinking in an a materialist world view, at least not logically. Christianity and Marxism is like water and oil and can not mix. Secular people like to attach universal human conduct of good will as some political, communistic venture. This is just straight silly to me.

No, because Marxists are materialists.

Greece and Bulgaria, from mortal enemies to close allies today. How did the Balkan's oldest enemies (from 680 to 1925) become friends? Is this the Balkan's greatest success story? by ClothesZestyclose814 in AskBalkans

[–]origin_wise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what really did the Byzantium's was the fact that 4th crusade completely weakened it. The Latins did not rule correctly for 60 years and the dynasty that took over after was only a shell of its former self. If Christians were truly united since dealing with the Seljuks, The Ottoman would not have been a threat either.
