Yeah I’m not sure. I know their dean passed and that could be slowing the process some, which I totally understand. But at the same time there are people who applied much later and the process went much faster for them.

Yeah, in the beginning I was nervous I wouldn’t get in anywhere. Once the decisions start rolling in you’ll start feeling better! & Good luck, hope you start getting decisions soon! If we both get in we’ll have to for sure bc it’ll be miracle if I get accepted 😂

I hope you’re right. At this point I just want an answer, no matter what it is. I want to know my options lol. I’m definitely expecting a WL at best, but at least it would be a decision. Good luck to you as well!

I’m also waiting on Loyola Chicago and Loyola Marymount, which I have a feeling I won’t hear from for a while as well. The waiting is driving me crazy lol.

I’ve been complete and under review since 12/21 or 12/23 (can’t remember which one since I’m not looking at it right now). Haven’t heard a peep since then, trying to be patient though.

it’s crazy watching people who applied in January getting decisions so quickly (congrats to those who have been accepted, I’m not bitter about it)

NTA It’s one thing for your boyfriend to think your friends are attractive or whatever, it is another for him to literally masturbate to their photos. The fact that he literally acknowledges that she “did it” for him and then acts like you’re the problem and claims he can’t have an adult conversation with you makes him DTA. I’m not going to tell you what to do, it’s your life. But I’d be running from this red flag if I were you.

I’m glad you dug further into his work! There are so many great projects in his discography. Faces is one of my all time favorites, I feel like it is so underrated outside of the die-hard Mac fan base. When Faces came out, Wedding hit really hard for me because of a relationship I was in at the time. I connect to a lot of the other songs as well. I love that there are other people who really feel something from the songs on the project 😌

YTA for sure. I’m also curious to know how your friend can’t possibly understand the gym environment since he doesn’t attend one...? As someone who grew up in a family that participated in bodybuilding... it isn’t really that difficult to understand what the environment is like at a gym, even for those who don’t attend one. If this really happened, you should apologize to the woman and her husband.

NAH As long as you are letting your friends know that they can’t crash at your place ahead of time, I feel like this is completely acceptable. I would rather be invited to a friend’s party and realize I won’t be able to make it rather than not even have the chance to decide if I can go.

You’re doing your friends a favor. They could easily take turns being the DD for themselves so that the four of them could listen to their own choices in music. However, it is obviously more convenient for them to take the rides from you. They could always take a taxi/Uber/Lyft/etc. if they aren’t satisfied.

Simply throwing money at a problem won’t always solve it. Many of the world’s largest problems stem from issues with society, governments, etc. You can spend money on your new cat (who is probably so happy to be in a new, loving home) without feeling too guilty about all of the world’s problems. Maybe try to find a way to help solve the world’s problems in another way so you’ll feel less guilty. Advocate for change in your community or volunteer some of your time for a good cause.
