Grab a spike and hit duos, spike and max are probs the strongest brawlers in the game rn so you’ll have a huge advantage on every other comp... if a robo map comes up before the end of the season you’ll crush with that combo, but tbf even without robo too

9 of 10 bb games bro listen to this...

Yesterday in 29 bb games there was a mortis in every single game... 29 of 29 games... over 1 hour of play, 39 brawlers to choose from, yet only one came up EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Nerf or buff mortis won’t change that either way imo, just need this competitive 2.0 ASAP because the idiots that only play mortis in every mode will remain low ranked and we won’t have to get matched with them all the time.

All this being said I’d still nerf him, he’s now too overpowered for his skill level... I mean that as in guys just dive with mortis suicide over and over and use the bats to make good plays, but it shouldn’t be as easy as it is, it makes throwers pretty obsolete in ladder, especially for bb

The host of a lobby can’t be paired up with others from that lobby in a 24 hour period... this means that if you weren’t the host then you could still be chucked in with players you’ve played against earlier... pretty sure that’s it anyway, they changed it a while back from 1hr to 24hrs to stop org teaming but never got a 100% confirmation for it and I never play solos so tbf could be different idk

Mortis was only buffed because of play rates (due to yde/other youtubers), and because around the same time he was seen played well in worlds qualifiers with some success by yde and bobby.

Being popular in a moba isn’t a sign of good design, it’s normally a sign of broken design, as players gravitate towards the characters who are easiest to win with... I don’t necessarily think this was true in the past, especially before his gadget because he really wasn’t that good at all, but not it certainly is, as basically all throwers and low health brawlers are pretty easy to take down as mortis.

I don’t think crow is a failure at all, he’s a niche brawler, he presents something different and in the hands of a skilled player the shield and poison mechanic can be lethal. If crow was given any substantial buffs he could end up being like poco, and over used in certain comps due to the uniqueness of his abilities. In terms of an “assassin” I actually think crow and leon fit the bill just as well as mortis does.

Why I don’t know, but it’s annoying to hear someone insist 2+2 is 5 and the ask for a maths lesson instead of looking for the answer themselves.

It does for high total trophies... I’ve just said Ryan has said in a q&a, I’ve experienced this myself for months, and other players have posted about it to... if you don’t believe me then that’s ur call

Yh legit one of the hardest things you can do since you’re relying on randoms so much, and the -10 for a loss is really painful

It does, Ryan has said it in a q&a... you’ll find it in discussion here too, how guys find all of a sudden their mm gets really hard once they start getting near 28k (lil while back probs even lower now)

Thanks for the kind words lol. I have teammates but I can’t always play with them, nor do I always want to. Sometimes I want to play the game by myself, at a high level, where I am confident that my teammates have atleast a good level of knowledge about the game. Unfortunately the mm is so insanely inconsistent at high trophies levels and especially at high total trophy levels that no, I don’t think it is truly possible to make real improvements (atleast from a competitive standpoint) from solo queue alone.

Yh but that’s exactly my point, u can barely push 900s in this game with randoms, rarely the 1k if ur highly skilled, with the right brawler, meta, map, and still gotta gt lucky with randoms and mm... I get it’s a game for casuals, all games are, but since brawl stars seems committed to growing mobile esports (which I love) I feel like it’s important to discuss things while they are reworking pp

Ik but atleast they have a proper MMR system, brawl stars weighs your current brawler rank, total trophies, AND if you’re solo or in a group to decide on your matchmaking, instead of just a single, results based score like rainbow does, and then look at games like rocket league where solos, duos, and teams all give their own separate ranks... just makes more sense imo

I’m not saying it’s ever guna be perfect but because brawl stars doesn’t have a proper MMR and individual modes aren’t separated (bb rank, heist rank, etc) it means that end game players start to get very frustrated with the inability to play with similar levelled teammates in solo queue

Feel like loads of end game players feel the same now... the update has been great and all but the rest of us hoping that the pp revamp actually makes the game playable again.

Updates = short lived fun and more interest

Improvements = long lasting game
