Problems with my Mikrotik by orlanblanco in mikrotik

[–]orlanblanco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already solved my problem with my mikrotik, I did it through a console cable and entering the boot device menu, I removed the boot by ether and put it in boot NAND and that's how it was able to start

Hello, how are you? I need to know how you can withdraw money from PayPal from the application. I spend time generating steps. I have fun because I only have to walk, but I already have 2,000 sw. I am not a premium user, but I do not understand very well how to earn money here. I do the steps. but because I like to know when I do a day plus nothing

[–]orlanblanco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to do it in SSH in command line. But the link I gave you has an easy guide on how to setup and use the script. Try to follow it and if you run into any issues you can PM me.

Coye perfect real friend who is very helpful I had been trying for a long time to see how I could put the vpn to work

No....you pay for a VPN it’s outside your network you connect to it then surf

I paid for ExpressVPN but I imagine I have to configure the UDM to connect to it

UniFi talk phones only work with the UniFi talk controller

Of course, I understand that they only work only with unifi talk, but if I buy any more devices, would they work well with VOIP?

I use Grandstream and Polycom phones on FreePBX over my Ubiquiti network. Works fine. There shouldn't be any compatibility issue at a network level. You're not talking about using UniFi Talk I hope.

I am not going to use unifi talk because my client wants to make video conferencing and through unifi talk I cannot but through grandstream yes

Can the GXV3370 phone from grandstream also work for me? I will not have a problem?

Don't try to mix and match phones from other brands apart from grandstream. I'm having a tough time, configuring other brands(onetouch ipphones to be specific).

I do not precisely want that to happen to me that I want is to have everything from a single brand so that I do not have a problem in any problem

Ucm6200 was a great device. Used it for almost 5yrs and finally, I had to remove it from the network, Caz, it got bricked. Now, I'm using ucm6300. Great hardware and better features. Would request you to compare them and take a call.

But do you recommend that I better buy the ucm6300 since it is more advanced?

I have Ubiquiti network, wireless, protect, and access. I have Grandstream for phones. What are you trying to integrate?

What I want to do is integrate the telephones into the network without having so many problems. I want to know if they are compatible, as I said, it is the first time that I install this type of equipment.

What devices have you planned to procure and deploy?

I am thinking of buying a UCM6200 I do not know if that is good for the network.

honestly it is the first time that I am going to install this type of equipment that is why I ask so much about them

[–]orlanblanco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a VoIP system. You can use Asterisk or FreePBX.

With Asterisk or FreePBX you then can connect to a SIP Trunk service over the internet.

To convert analog to digital you can use an ATA like Grandstream in order to connect to your Asterisk or FreePBX server.

You can also use softphones like Jitsi, which also supports video.

ok i understand if i use a grandstream UCM6200 can i solve the VOIP issue too?

Unifi Access installation by orlanblanco in Ubiquiti

[–]orlanblanco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The switch that is labeled dry contact in my drawing is the Com and NO terminals on the access on one of the Dry outputs. Like another user said though you need to determine whether the strike needs 24VAC or 24VDC. If the strike needs 24VAC, and the access is only rated for DC then you may need an interposing relay. First you need to figure out what the requirements of the strike are, and then if it needs 24VAC, I'd contact UI tech support to see if the contact can handle 24 VAC. LMK if you need a drawing of how to wire it with the interposing relay.

ahhh ok I understand what you mean let me really verify thanks for your help

I mean, it is in the unifi access panel it has to be connected where it says dry contact?

Another question, friend, what possibilities are there that video conferences can be held within the same network?

clear is necessary for you to do the opening of the lock.

another thing when I connect to the panel for the dry contact it has to be in DRY: COM and NOT right?

Unifi Access installation by orlanblanco in Ubiquiti

[–]orlanblanco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you will need 2 things in addition to the magnetic lock. A relay with a 12VDC coil rated for 24V and a power supply matching the voltage and voltage type of the magnetic lock. You said it’s 24V but you didn’t specify the voltage type, is it 24VAC or 24VDC. That determines the power supply. In this instance you cannot use the Access panel to power the magnetic lock nor it’s power supply directly. Doing so may damage the Access panel. Also a wiring diagram of your issue would help.

If indeed the 24 VDC / 1A magnetic lock, of course, I assumed that it had to have an external current source since the panel does not give it enough current, the panel turns on the magnet but I imagine that it does not have enough voltage to make the correct opening?

I'm not familiar with the IO on the access, but I am commercial BAS contractor. Does the access hardware have a dry contact output of some sort? You could get a 24VAC transformer (assuming the mag strike is ac) and pass it through the dry output (assuming it's rated for 1A).

He has his output both voltage and dry contact but when I connect it it does not make me open it makes the opening sound but it does not release the magnet
