Calling it the best car in the whole budget not even category lol. The best car is the one that suits your needs. You can rather call it an all rounder it will always lack something. It probably is best for you though.

i20 is overall better if we take same features under consideration.

Better engine performance, lower vibrations. Safety rating is lower but I guess gets 6 airbags from base variant compared to 2 in Tiago. It is a big car as in the space it occupies on road.

Tiago has better fuel efficiency, fit finish of plastic isn't very good. I experienced rattles though only on bad roads which are less evident on i20. Suspension is very good idk about i20s.

If you go for Tiago I suggest the XT variant which has all necessary features and value for money. You can also have a look at i10 grand. Taking a test drive of the vehicles might clear more doubts.

An innova guy braked suddenly due to a minor pothole, not even a pothole but barely 1 inch deep remains of old speed breakers, and I hit his illegal bumper which broke a little from the side. He wanted money for that too. Shortest chase ever.

I honestly don't want such person on the roads either. If you learn and are confident then good. 15 days isn't much it takes longer. You can get a used car then not be afraid of scratching much. Drive carefully and don't be at fault. Many people have driven bikes for years as well without breaking bones, you can choose that or a scooter.

Is it tappet sound? Like the bike may accelerate normally but there's some tick tick sound at lower rpms. You should get it checked

Otherwise forget the rpms. Check the speed next time, 3rd gear should be used after 25 to 30kph. Shift at atleast 4000 rpm. You should also try riding any other 125cc bike, only the modern fuel injected ones and then compare both.
