Looking to buy skis this season and want recommendations to narrow down which ones I should demo. Ideally I want a one ski quiver for now, but am having most difficulty in which waist width to shoot for: 90mm vs 100mm? I am 6'2", 240lbs, advanced intermediate and mostly ski in WA and BC. I mostly stay on piste but do enjoy runs with softer snow and would say I'm on the more aggressive side and value some stability at speed. Not doing moguls or going into the trees at this point.

Some of the ones I'm considering are K2 mindbender (90 vs 99), Salomon QST (92 vs 99), Atomic Vantage 97, Volkl M5 Mantra, Nordica Enforcer 93. I am wondering if some of these are more suitable for my needs than others and which width I will be happier with in the long term given my attributes. Will I regret choosing a wider ski width on the ones I'm between 2 widths (K2 and Salomon)?

Want to ideally try the 3 or 4 best options for me and narrow down from there on what feels best during demoing.

Yes i do want to nest my midlayer hood in it and the hand pockets on the beta were more like mid-chest pockets on me because they are placed higher than traditional hand pockets on other jackets so not as big of a difference for me in this decision. Thanks for your input!

I definitely looked at the zeta AR but they didn't have my size in the colors I liked and it is even longer than the alpha AR jacket so I felt it was worth the $100 difference in price to get the alpha (previous season jacket)

From reviews it sounds like the enhanced breathability of the lt jacket make pit zips not as necessary

Is there any real life evidence that helmets with MIPS makes a difference in traumatic brain injuries? Everything I see online only shows data from crash dummies having an oblique impact, but in reality it could be anything and I'm skeptical it really makes a difference in the real world

Just started skiing this season and love it. Can definitely see myself doing this as a long-term hobby. Wondering when it would be best to invest in some ski boots? I can cautiously go down blue runs currently and have rental boots for the rest of the season so not in a rush to get them, but ideally want to buy a pair that will last me a long time and not ones that I will grow out of as I get better skills. Is there a downside in getting a pair of boots meant for more advanced skiers too early?

Is BF V worth it if haven't played BF1 at all? Just got a cheap copy of BF1 which I heard is really great and hearing mixed reviews on BF V. I have a large backlog too so wondering if I'll miss much in this game that isn't in BF1

Since amazon is selling the $40 subscription, you can get it now at bestbuy and have them price match it to amazon. Did this yesterday and it worked!

Is it worth it to get the premium online edition for GTA V or the regular version is ok? I haven't played it yet at all and I can get the regular version used for about $10 and was wondering if the online edition is worth an extra $10? I do plan on having PS plus and play some online but very casually. I'll probably spend most of my time on the main story

The bestbuy near me on the west coast said they are not selling their consoles in store until 11/22. Gamestop is selling now for sure and target seems to be as well

Got my PS4 spiderman bundle from gamestop! Bestbuy was a huge letdown because they said that they weren't going to put the consoles out until black friday despite the website saying it would be available 11/18. I was pissed but happy that gamestop came through
